As a MAJOR fan of Rodin Olio Lusso, I was thrilled to see that this brand is now available at Sephora! I own full sizes of most of the items now available at Sephora, and I will definitely make my next purchases through them when it is time to restock. At this point they only stock a few of the Rodin Olio Lusso products, and they are only available online, but hopefully they will eventually stock the whole line. Rodin Olio Lusso Facial Cleansing Powder | Review

Rodin Olio Lusso Facial Cleansing Powder is a wonderful cleansing powder that effectively, and thoroughly, cleans the skin without ever stripping it. It is formulated so that one can customize their cleansing routine based upon the needs of the skin and personal preference. For instance, if one seeks an exfoliating cleanser, then simply add less water to preserve the granular texture which lends itself to efficient exfoliation. If, instead, one prefers a creamier consistency, then simply add more water and mix for a smooth texture. Once water is introduced, a lovely creamy lather, punctuated by the aroma of jasmine oil, soothes the skin and the senses. Skin is left silky smooth, thoroughly cleansed and lightly hydrated. I love this cleanser and routinely pair it with Rodin Olio Lusso Luxury Face Oil (Reviewed here). It should be noted that very little is needed– therefore this little bottle will last longer than you might expect.

According to Linda Rodin,

This is my dream facial cleanser. I’ve been working on this for years. I combined granular rice bran with moisturizing sea algae, which is enhanced by olio lusso’s signature blend of jasmine and neroli. It is the ideal skin prep for face oil. I customize my cleansing routine based on my skin’s needs. I pour a small amount of powder into damp palms. I add a little water for a deeper exfoliating experience; add more water for a richer lather, and massage onto my face. I rinse clean with water and then lightly towel dry my face. Then, I apply 2-3 drops of my face oil.

Directions: Rinse clean with water, then lightly towel dry face. Apply 2 to 3 drops to still-damp face.

Ingredients: Sorbitol, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Tricalcium Phosphate, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Extract, Tetrasodium Edta, Chondrus Crispus (Carrageenan), Fragrance (Parfum), Linalool.

Overall Assessment: I absolutely love this cleanser, and plan to purchase another bottle as soon as I finish this one. A+

RODIN Olio Lusso Geranium & Orange Blossom Luxury Face Oil | Review

Given my love of RODIN Olio Lusso, I was very excited by the prospects of trying the RODIN Olio Lusso Geranium & Orange Blossom Face Oil, and given my penchant for luxury beauty oils, and my unmitigated devotion to RODIN Olio Lusso Jasmine/Neroli Luxury Face Oil (Reviewed HERE) this fetching oil was at the top of my list of must-haves. Therefore, I eagerly anticipated testing this stunning golden elixir, and it was an even greater delight than I had anticipated. I was given a very generous supply of samples to test, and it took no time for me to purchase a full-size bottle.

First, before I tell you how this delectable luxury face oil performs, I must preface this review by stating that its aroma is utterly enchanting. It is the perfect balance between the Geranium and the Orange Blossom, and it is neither too sweet, nor too citrusy. Instead, it is deep, rich and warm it reveals a touch of spice. It is hypnotic, delectable and truly divine.

RODIN Olio Lusso Geranium & Orange Blossom Face Oil is a lightweight antioxidant-rich, remarkably fast absorbing and ultra nourishing oil. It immediately hydrates even the most parched and dehydrated skin– leaving it baby soft, smooth, supple and seriously luminous. I have noted that it banished a couple of dry patches that I had on my chin, and it has softened the appearance of my light expression lines. It is effective for all types of skin, and has been an extraordinary treat for my normal/combination skin.

According to Rodin Olio Lusso,

When skin’s lost its zest, massage in the energizing powers of this exotic blend to encourage microcirculation and rev up radiance. Not a morning person? You can still look like one. Traveling? Look fresh even when you’ve lost track of the time zone.

I was so excited when the Makeup Wars! Team decided that we would feature our favorite summer lip colors, and my choices were immediately obvious to me. Therefore, I knew that her lipsticks would be a must-have for me.

Rodin Olio Lusso Luxury Lipstick in So Mod

I have always loved lip glosses, but I really prefer them to be lightweight, non-sticky and beautifully shiny. It should, therefore, come as no surprise that I absolutely adore the Yves Saint Laurent Gloss Volupté formula, and among my favorite, most-used shades are: 2 Or Saharienne, 19 Rose Orfèvre and 20 Nude Carat. All three of the shades that I selected are more sheer-leaning glosses that do impart a lovely wash of color. They can be worn alone, or top your favorite lip liners and lipsticks.

20 Nude Carat is a golden peachy nude with golden shimmer

The Gloss Volupté formula is very lightweight and comfortable on the lips, it boasts the perfect amount of cushion, but it is able to cling to the lips without the least bit of stickiness. Furthermore, it boasts a gorgeous shine that is punctuated by a luminous shimmer that is tastefully done, rather than overdone. I get several hours of wear out of a single application, and find that the novel shaped applicator lends itself to easy application. The pointed tip is perfect for lining the lips, while the wider area fills in the lips effortlessly. It should be noted, however, that the Gloss Volupté formula has the distinct fruity scent and taste for which YSL is known. I do find that the taste fades fairly quickly, but if you are sensitive to fragrance, then you should go smell them before making the purchase.

Overall Assessment: RODIN Olio Lusso Luxury Lipstick in So Mod is the perfect nude pink, and I love it so much that I have been wearing it every single day. I knew that I was going to love Linda Rodin's lipstick formula, but it has exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be collecting more colors from this exquisitely edited collection. A+
