I was thinking about the way in which the stay-at-home order, during the COVID-19 pandemic, has rooted us to our homes like never before, and it occurred to me that one of the things that is helping soothe my spirit is regularly indulging in a variety of home fragrances. Lovely candles, room sprays, reed diffusers and oil diffusers have enhanced my home, and giving me a measure of joy in the midst of an otherwise very stressful time. In Los Angeles County, which is the epicenter of the epidemic in California, our stay-at-home order was just extended through July. Therefore, we aren't likely to emerge from our homes until August!
