As previously noted, I recently was out-of-town for several days and managed to forget my tweezers, mirror and a few other essentials at home in the rush to run out the door. Among those forgotten essentials was a good magnifying mirror, and I decided to buy the Conair 10x Magnifying Suction Cup Mirror, which is 3 1/2" in diameter. It is the perfect size to fit in my travel bag, and is the precise size of the one that I forgot at home. While shopping, I found a few cheaper variants, but I was willing to spend more and get one that was more durable and ultimately better quality. This effortlessly attaches, via its suction cups, to a larger mirror or window so that you can have it at the height that you prefer. The 10x magnification is perfect for close-up work plucking fine hairs and applying eye makeup, and it is precisely what I needed to keep my eyebrows well-groomed and my eyeliner applied without incident.

The CHANEL MIROIR DOUBLE FACETTES Mirror Duo is another one of the lovely birthday gifts that my beloved sister gave me this year. It is a really beautiful double mirror compact that is perfect for my makeup bag. The sturdy compact is 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" and comes with its own felt pouch that prevents scratching. The compact looks precisely like their eyeshadow and blush compacts, but it is more slim. It is a dense and solid plastic with the CHANEL double C logo on the front and nothing on the back. One side boasts a regular mirror and the other is a magnifying mirror. It is truly everything that I could possibly need in a mirror for my makeup bag.
