I recently discovered the most beautiful handcrafted soaps, made in small batches, from Concord, Massachusetts. Potager Soap Co. is a cruelty-free, vegan and certified organic brand that is woman-owned, and it is invested in sustainable practices.

Potager Soap debuted in 1999 with our Potager Pure line of vegetable oil bar soaps. After nearly 20 years and following the birth of Eloise, suddenly pure was not good enough.  As my daughter diligently sourced out ingredient lists to make sure that the products she used on her baby were safe, at Potager we began reexamining our ingredient list. This uplifting aroma is an unmitigated delight to the senses. The creamy lather is very satisfying to the touch, it thoroughly cleans the skin, and never leaves it dry or stripped.

Potager Soap Co. uses a very limited ingredients list, which includes: Organic Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Shea Butter (these are the base oils which are saponified in the soap making process). They use organic essential oils for scent and aromatherapeutic benefits as well as organic herbs and botanicals.

Overall Assessment: These are absolutely amazing soaps, and I highly recommend supporting this small woman-owned company. Not only are these very high quality cruelty-free soaps, but they are such a joy to use.

I recently discovered Godai Soaps and had to share them with you. They are natural, vegan, non-GMO, certified organic and cruelty-free. Aside from their environmentally and socially responsible practices and beliefs– their soaps are ultra-luxe, they smell delectable and they are such a pleasure to use. Each has an incredibly vibrant and beautiful aroma, except Earth– which is unscented. These beautiful soaps gently and thoroughly cleanse the skin without stripping, drying or irritating. Kopa Haiku Lilikoi Guava Cream Soap | Review

A friend of mine went on a family trip to Hawaii recently, and he brought me back a few lovely gifts, and one was so amazing hat I had to share it with you. Kopa Haiku Lilikoi Guava Cream Soap is the most delectably fragrant soap that it fills my bathroom with its rich, fruity floral aroma. Its passion fruit and guava aroma is sweet, rich and intoxicatingly beautiful. It smells like Hawaii, and transports me there each time I smell it. This handmade soap forms a rich and creamy lather, it moisturizes, rather than dries the skin, and one bar lasts a long time.

The Lilikoi, also known as Passion Fruit, and the Guava can only be found in warm tropical climates, such as Hawaii’s. The opposing scents of the Guava and the Lilikoi blend together to create a perfect balance of sweet and tart that is uniquely Hawaiian.

Overall Assessment: I plan on ordering more of this soap, and highly recommend it if you are seeking a truly remarkable soap that smells like paradise!
