SH-RD M1racle Luminous Elixir for Gorgeous Hair Review

SH-RD is a haircare brand that I just recently discovered, and I am so impressed by their products that I have tried.

SH-RD M1racle Luminous Elixir is a deep conditioner that is formulated specifically for dry, damaged hair, and it is a perfect choice for naturally curly hair– like mine– and bleached, permed, heat-treated and cool-treated hair. Each box comes with 6-ampoules and an applicator tip, and each treatment uses an entire bottle. The formula is very concentrated, and you simply apply the whole bottle to freshly washed and towel-dried hair and massage it for about five minutes. It is more effective using the SH-RD Scalp Massage Comb, if you don't have a scalp massager already, and it feels even batter on the scalp than using one's fingers. Rinse hair thoroughly, and no added conditioner is needed. Style or dry naturally as you normally would.

SH-RD M1racle Luminous Elixir nourishes the hair, and leaves my naturally curly hair soft, silky-smooth, frizz-free and manageable. Furthermore, it gives my hair a wonderful shine, and that isn't easy to achieve with my hair.

Additionally, the elixir has a wonderful aroma that is informed by the following notes:

Top Notes: Blackcurrant, Lemon, Citrus
Middle Notes: Rose, Freesia, Nectarine
Base Notes: Musk, Amber, Cedarwood Essential Oil

I find the fragrance quite lovely, but the scent does not linger in my hair and scalp after I rinse it, but if you are sensitive to fragranced hair products, then you may not want to use this hair elixir.

Overall Assessment: My naturally curly, and color-treated, hair can be quite unruly and prone to frizz and fly-aways, and I really like how my hair looks and feels when I use SH-RD M1racle Luminous Elixir.

René Furterer Complexe 5 Stimulating Plant Concentrate Revisted

René Furterer Complexe 5 Stimulating Plant Concentrate is a pre-shampoo treatment that detoxes the scalp, by cleansing and purifying it, and the warming effect helps to improve microcirculation. I have been using this product for about 2 1/2 years, and now that I am nearly finished with my most recent bottle, and about to purchase another one, and I thought that I would revisit it with you because it really is that good!

It is soothing, invigorating and makes the scalp feel amazing, and my hair also looks and feels wonderful after using it. You simply apply it to the scalp and then massage for a few minutes, and then leave it in for about 5-10 minutes. Be sure to shampoo twice, to remove the residual oil, and then condition hair as you would normally. It has a wonderful orange aroma that is punctuated by the lavender oil, and it is such an amazing treat to the senses.

I like to follow by using René Furterer 5 Sens Enhancing Dry Oil (Reviewed HERE), which is a beautifully fast absorbing dry oil, that can be used on the hair and body. It has a lovely soft aroma that is a treat to the senses, but it isn't long lasting or in the least bit cloying. When I use it on my body, it melts into the skin and leaves it soft, supple, hydrated and nourished. For the hair, it offers extraordinary hydration and leaves locks soft, smooth and manageable. It tames frizz and fly-aways, and it gives hair a glossy shine.

Directions: Apply section by section, once or twice a week over the whole scalp. Massage and leave in for 5 to 10 minutes. Shampoo twice. May cause a warm sensation on the scalp. Do not use on a sensitive scalp. Avoid use for 2 days before and 2 days after in-salon chemical services. Not recommended for pregnant or nursing women.
