It also works beautifully to set makeup, and also can be used to help serums penetrate the skin faster and deeper. It has a beautiful aroma that is a fusion of the Rosewater and Neroli Extract, but it is subtle and pleasant and it does fade quickly. Therefore, if you don't like aromatic skincare products, this one should not present a problem for you. Teal Botanicals is a cruelty-free brand that is made in the USA.

It is formulated to regulate oil production, soothe irritated skin and brighten the complexion. It has a delectable aroma that is informed by the Passionfruit, but it is tempered by the other ingredients. Skin is left soft, smooth, nourished and clean.

Herbivore Rose Hibiscus Hydrating Face Mist is a delectable hydrating face spray that really refreshes the skin. It can be stored in the refrigerator to cool and soothe the skin, whenever you want to spritz for a little pick-me-up, but it also can be used to set makeup. It has a very light rosewater aroma, but it isn't in the least bit overpowering, instead it is subtle and lovely. If you love rosewater, this is something that you will want to try. Summer may be coming to a close, but this is something that I will be using, and likely repurchasing, well into the fall!

Koh Gen Do Must-Haves This Summer

As a major fan of all things Koh Gen Do, I have amassed a rather long list of their products that I covet. However, during this hot summer that we are having in Los Angeles, I am finding that there are three of their products that I am reaching for all of the time, and I thought that I would share them with you.

Koh Gen Do Cleansing Spa Water ($15.00-$66.00  for 3.38 oz.- 12.85 oz. from Koh Gen Do, Sephora,  Revolve, Neiman Marcus): My eyes can be particularly sensitive when it comes to makeup and makeup removers, and I have even found many so-called gentle eye makeup removers to be very irritating for my eyes. Koh Gen Do's Cleansing Spa Water removes all traces of makeup and eye makeup without irritating sensitive eyes or skin, and it leaves the skin soft, clean and hydrated. On the nights that I am too tired to do my full skincare routine, I use this multi-tasker to clean my skin and remove all traces of makeup. Not only is it incredibly effective, but it neither strips the skin, nor does it leave behind an oily residue.

Koh Gen Do 100% Pure Cotton ($14.00 for 60 pads from Koh Gen Do, Nordstrom, Barneys New York, Sephora, Dermstore, Neiman Marcus, Spring, Beautylish, b-glowing Amazon Store and b-glowing): Whether you use a toner, micellar or spa waters or makeup removers, you probably have sought high quality cotton pads or cotton balls to use these products. My preference has always been 100% cotton, and while I have tried a great many over the years, Koh Gen Do ranks as my very favorite. Their cotton pads are very thick, 100% Certified Organic cotton, and they are not chemically treated, bleached or subjected to fertilizers or pesticides. Furthermore, the Koh Gen Do 100% Pure Cotton Pads do not fall apart during use, they are soft against the skin, and they are an ultra- luxe pleasure to use.

Place layers across the face so that they slightly overlap and cover all areas of the complexion. Leave on for 5-10 minutes, then remove. Do not rinse.

Koh Gen Do Herbal Spa Mist ($69.00 for 3.38 oz. from Koh Gen Do, Neiman Marcus): This refreshing face misting spray is a wonderfully effective botanical blend that hydrates, calms and revitalizes the skin. It has an aroma that is informed by citrus, which is offset by Lavender, Eucalyptus and Rosemary, and this particular blend is a treat to the senses and the skin. It offers the skin a real pick-me-up during the warmer months of the year, and while I have been reaching for it daily this summer, it is undoubtedly something that I will enjoy using year round.

Farmhouse Fresh is one of those remarkable brands that makes one amazing product after another. I am always excited by their new launches, and their Vitamin Berry Facial Tonic is no exception.

Farmhouse Fresh Vitamin Berry Facial Tonic is an alcohol-free facial tonic with, "an instant natural filter effect that makes pores appear as if they never existed at all." Additionally, this antioxidant-rich tonic remarkably boosts the moisture content of the skin, smooths it, and provides "vital nourishment from aronia berries."

I love using facial mists, and this one is not only incredibly refreshing, and appropriate to use when I need a little pick-me-up, but it also does an enviable job setting my makeup during the day, or enhancing the absorption of my face oils a face creams during the morning and evening. It is soothing and such a pleasure to use, and the delectable berry aroma is such a treat to the senses.
