Frøya Organics Anti-Age & Insane Glow Day Balm is a super emollient daytime moisturizer formulated for aging skin of all types. I use a small scoop to remove a tiny amount of balm from the jar, then I warm it between my hands and massage it into warm and freshly cleansed skin that is still slightly damp. Since the formula is so concentrated, using a small amount ensures that there will be no oily residue left behind, but using too much will, and it is a waste of this luxurious balm. The water-free formula melts into the skin and leaves it soft, supple, nourished, deeply moisturized and luminous. The organic plant-based ingredients lend a light natural aroma to this balm, but it is quite light and unassuming.
This moisturizer does not include a sunscreen, and therefore once it sinks in I apply my high SPF sunscreen and then proceed with any makeup that I might wear on a given day.
The products are specifically made for people in harsh weather. In Norway, we have temperatures from 30 to -30 degrees and a lot of rain, wind, and snow. The products are made for extreme conditions. Making them suitable for everyone, harsh weather or not. The products work for almost all skin types; oily, dry, normal, combination, and sensitive. And all skin colors.
