WYLYS Phyto Green Cleansing Balm is an utterly gorgeous cleansing balm that melts into the skin and it does an exquisite job cleaning dirt and makeup. It transforms from a lightweight balm to a creamy and milky emulsion, and it rinses completely clean and leaves behind no oily residue, whatsoever. It leaves skin soft, smooth, supple and hydrated. It is very concentrated, and therefore you only need to massage a tiny amount into your skin. It has a wonderful herbaceous aroma, but it isn't in the least bit imposing, instead it is very pleasant and calming.

Sometimes I double cleanse and follow with one of my lathering cleansers, but sometimes I just use this cleansing balm, and my skin is left remarkably soft, silky smooth and hydrated. It rinses clean without any sort of oily residue, and its light and pleasant aroma disappears altogether. It is such a pleasure to use this cleansing balm, and a little goes a very long way. Dr. Althea Pore Refresh Grinding Cleansing Balm is a deep pore cleansing balm that is formulated for all types of skin. It is lightweight, quite emollient and it is free of any detectable aroma. Simply turn the top clockwise (half turn for light makeup and a full turn for heavy makeup), and massage the balm into the skin and then add a little warm water so that it transforms into a milky emulsion. If I am experiencing any pore congestion on my nose or chin, then I massage it for a little longer in those areas to help release what is trapped in my pores. This cleansing balm rinses clean, and you don't have to double cleanse if you prefer not to, but I always double cleanse since that is my preference. It really helps to loosen up sebum and whiteheads when I get them, and even when I don't it deeply cleans my skin without ever stripping it or drying it out.

TIRTIR Hydro Boost Enzyme Cleansing Balm is a really lovely cleansing balm in every way conceivable, in my humble opinion. I am a big fan of double cleansing, and therefore I routinely use cleansing oils and cleansing balms before I use my regular cleanser. This step removes all traces of makeup and dirt and it does not strip the skin. This cleansing balm is lightweight and very emollient, and it has no detectable scent whatsoever (and fragrance is not listed among its ingredients). Simply massage a small amount into dry skin (with dry hands), and then add a bit of warm water. It immediately transforms into a light, milky emulsion that cleans every bit of makeup, sunscreen and dirt. It rinses completely clean and leaves behind no oily residue. In fact, skin is left soft, smooth and lightly hydrated. It is just my type of cleansing balm because it does not leave behind a greasy residue that can sometimes require a triple cleanse to remove.

KIMTRUE Makeup Remover Meltway Cleansing Balm with Bilberry & Moringa Seed Extracts is a cleansing balm that effectively removes makeup and dirt, and it helps dislodge excess oils trapped in the pores. Simply massage a small amount into the skin and it melts away makeup and cleans skin without the need for double cleansing, but you still can double please if it is a part of your routine. The moisturizing ingredients leave skin nourished without leaving behind a greasy residue. I always remove my makeup with a biphase liquid makeup remover that is specifically formulated to remove eye makeup because I have sensitive eyes, and I always avoid removing my makeup with anything else.

This cleansing balm has a lightweight waxy texture that immediately transforms into an oil when it is massaged into warm skin. Once warm water is introduced, it transforms, yet again, into a milky emulsion. Simply rinse with warm water and skin is left clean, residue-free and hydrated. It has a very faint citrus aroma, when you first massage it into the skin, but I have found that it fades very quickly.

Overall Assessment: This is a nice cleansing balm, and I love its ultra-lightweight texture, the way in which it emulsifies, and then how it leaves behind no residue once it has been rinsed with warm water.
