If you live in Southern California, August is Clear the Shelters Month. If you have been thinking about adopting a cat or dog, then this is the perfect time to help clear the shelters in the Los Angeles area.
Thanks to a generous grant from Petco Love, adoption fees will be waived* for Clear the Shelters during the weekend of August 26 & 27. *Not including $20 license fee for dogs four months and older for LA City residents.
For more information, click HERE. Cat adoption fees have been waived, and the adoption fee for dogs and puppies is $20.00 (not including the $20.00 licensing fee).
If you do not live in Southern California, check to see if Clear the Shelters events are happening in your area. This is a wonderful way to give an animal a loving forever home, and to help clear the very crowded animal shelters.
