Curél Moisture Repair Eye Cream Review

Curél Moisture Repair Eye Cream has been a revelation for me, and it is proof positive that an eye cream doesn't have to cost close to a mortgage payment! I should preface this by stating that I am quite finicky about eye creams, and that is because I have sensitive eyes and because rich eye creams tend to give me milia under my eyes.

Given that Curél is Japan’s #1 brand for dry, sensitive skin, I was certain that this fragrance-free eye cream wasn't going to irritate my sensitive eyes, but I was concerned that it was going to be too rich for my skin and cause milia. Therefore, my trial period was handled with great care. I dabbed a tiny amount between my ring fingers and warmed it up before gently patting it into my freshly washed– and still slightly damp– skin, and let it sink in completely. This cream is rich, concentrated and ultra-emollient, and therefore only the smallest amount was needed for both of my eyes. Each time I use this cream it leaves my skin very soft, smooth, supple and moisturized. What is more impressive is the fact that it diminishes under eye puffiness, softens the appearance of fine lines and leaves skin luminous. The bigger issue for me was whether prolonged use was going to cause milia, and after several weeks of twice a day use I am truly delighted to state that I have no milia! Not only is this my current favorite eye cream, but it is very affordable. It is now a staple for me, and nobody is more surprised that I!

According to Curél,

This concentrated eye cream deeply hydrates and visibly reduces fine lines. It nourishes the sensitive eye area with long lasting hydration.

Features:

HYDRATING EYE CREAM – This ceramide infused under eye cream works to noticeably reduce the appearance of fine lines caused by dryness.

RICH IN CERAMIDES – This ceramide infused eye cream helps replenish ceramides, a vital part of your skin’s natural moisture barrier.

FOR DRY, SENSITIVE SKIN - This daily eye cream gently hydrates with care for a soft and dewy complexion.

FRAGRANCE FREE, pH BALANCED, COLORANT FREE - This hydrating eye cream is formulated without drying alcohols for dry, sensitive skin.

DOUBLE HYDRATION - Use after moisturizing with Curel Japanese Skin Care Moisture Facial Milk or Curel Intensive Moisture Facial Cream for a complete hydration skin care routine.

Directions: Gently apply a small amount to the eye area and on eyelids using a gentle patting motion. Smooth from the inside corner of the eye outwards.

Overall Assessment: This is an excellent and affordable eye cream! Its efficacy is impressive, and it leaves my eyes looking and feeling wonderful. A+

  1. I will definitely try this eye cream for sure! I had no idea that Curel was a Japanese brand, wow. It sounds pretty perfect, and I'm hoping I can use it above my crease as well. A fragrance-free as well as affordable eye cream from a trusted brand is truly the best

    1. It is definitely an eye cream worth trying, Allison! Between its efficacy and affordability, you just can't lose! I don't use it on my eyelid, but I have patted excess right below my brow bone.

    1. Hi Michelle, This is an eye cream, not a face/décolleté cream. However, I have been testing their face cream (review forthcoming) and it is really wonderful and worth trying!
