Boxwalla Limited Edition Makeup+Skincare Box: Two Facets of Joy

 Press Release (Affiliate Links)

Boxwalla enthusiasts know that Boxwalla's eco-luxe beauty boxes are an extraordinary value, and that the products themselves are nothing short of spectacular. Their carefully curated green beauty boxes are a tremendous value, with steep discounts, and they feature truly covet-worthy cruelty-free organic beauty products.

Boxwalla has a new limited edition box with makeup and skincare that is themed 'Two Facets of Joy.' It includes makeup and skincare from the brand Lovinah Skincare that was created by Joy Ekhator. My review of this gorgeous box is forthcoming.

About Joy:

Joy grew up in Benin in Nigeria where she experienced traditional herbal medicine through her grandmother. Her grandmother was an herbalist, a traditional doctor, bone setter (mending broken bones with herbs & traditional poultice together with splint) and midwife. She treated people with traditional herbs from her own farm. That legacy along with Joy's love of technology, meet in Lovinah (Joy's background is in Computer Science and she worked for 22 years in tech before starting Lovinah). Lovinah products use ancient plant ingredients gilded with cutting edge green skincare technology.

This box will ship to customers in August. This is NOT the August subscription box. Cost: $69.00 Retail Value: $144.00

In this Box:

1) Lovinah's Copper Peptide & EGF* Ampoule Set ($99.00): A watery, supercharged serum with Copper Peptides and vegan Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF). Copper peptides are potent skin regeneration actives that improve the appearance of skin, helping to increase skin thickness & reducing the appearance of wrinkles. EGF has a multitude of benefits including the acceleration of skin healing, skin renewal & the slowing down of the thinning of skin. It helps to boost collagen & elastin in the skin.

Note: This serum is like a booster serum and doesn't contain any lipid components. You can either layer under another water-based serum (and then oil on top) or directly under an oil. You can also add it like a booster to your moisturizer or serums (that do not contain acids) The only restriction is that it cannot be layered with vitamin C - L-Ascorbic acid, or added to any serum with vitamin C (oil soluble vitamin C esters are ok).

2) Lovinah's Eye Magic Eyeshadow Palette ($45.00) : A palette containing 10 richly-pigmented shades with jewel tones and classic neutrals. Made with creamy East African Shea Nilotica, Squalane & crushed gemstones, these universally flattering eye shadows are elegant with a silken texture, long lasting & blend & adhere beautifully onto the eyelids.

  1. I don't think I've ever seen cosmetics in these boxes so that's a fun change of pace. And with masks it's our eyes that need to shine.

    1. They have periodically included makeup (like RMS), but it has definitely been a while.

  2. Crushed gemstones!? Wow 🤩 How nice to see some makeup in this LE Boxwalla box. And the copper & EGF serum sound fabulous. I love a non-lipid serum!
