THE WINNER OF THE BEST BEAUTY OIL OF 2019 IS... AFTELIER PERFUMES LAVENDER FACE ELIXIR #AFTELIERPERFUMES

 Press Sample (Unaffiliated Links)

Given the popularity of face oils, it would seem that everyone is marketing their version of the perfect beauty oil. After reflecting upon the wide range of beauty oils that have recently launched, there is a singular standout from 2019, and I am pleased to announce the winner of the best beauty oil in 2019, and it is Aftelier Perfumes Lavender Face Elixir.

My original review:

I have extolled the virtues of Mandy Aftel's handmade Face Elixirs for many years now, and with each new addition to her brilliantly curated collection one wonders how she could possibly outdo herself, and yet she always does. The NEW Aftelier Perfumes Lavender Face Elixir is the most sophisticated, refined and intoxicatingly beautiful permutation of lavender that could ever be imagined. In my estimation, lavender is one of the most difficult aromas to capture properly. In less capable hands, it is often far too pungent, overpowering, and can actually be off-putting. Conversely, on the other end of the spectrum, lavender is rendered too sweet, too floral or too artificial. The seemingly impossible balance has been struck by Mandy, and therefore the aroma of her Lavender Face Elixir nearly defies description.

As I have previously noted,

Mandy's brilliance is, in part, a function her ability to unite disparate elements into a single beautiful and heavenly elixir. Her unexpected juxtapositions of seemingly incompatible scents reveal her true artistry. Each note, no matter how assertive, is tempered by the properties inherent in the other oils chosen. and her nuanced selections are a function of her alchemical mastery (and this is accomplished at the most cultivated level).
Mandy's Lavender Face Elixir is unlike anything that you have ever experienced. It is soft and refined, without any pungency, yet it maintains all of the soothing and comforting aromatherapeutic qualities that one expects to find in lavender flowers on the stem. The aroma is soft, warm and creamy without any sharp edges. The lavender asserts itself without being forceful, and the velvety texture of the oil is the perfect textural complement to this elixir's otherworldly aroma.

Mandy inherently, and rather magically, understands each of the ingredients that she carefully chooses to unite. She has described this process to me as one in which each of her Face Elixirs include a lot of the named essence and then she adds, "a few facets of aroma to them." The end result is the likes of which you have neither imagined, nor experienced in a fragrant lavender face oil. It is, in a word, extraordinary.

As I have previously noted, "Mandy able to create artistic marvels by understanding the potential of each of the individual ingredients and then combining them in unexpected ways. She creates otherworldly masterpieces that defy simple description due to their chameleon-like complexity."

Lavender Face Elixir is lightweight and ultra-fast absorbing, and you will be delighted by the speed with which it melts into the skin. It is ultra-nourishing, deeply hydrating and it leaves skin remarkably soft, smooth, supple and luminous. The beautiful lavender aroma soothes the senses and quiets the mind, and it is therefore a wonderfully calming elixir that facilitates a restful and peaceful slumber.
The new glass dropper bottles, that Mandy selected, are elegant, chic, minimalist and stunningly gorgeous. In fact, these bottles are so gorgeous that you will keep, rather than recycle, them.
According to Mandy Aftel,

To celebrate 25 years of making face elixirs, I developed a new base blend of sustainably-produced broccoli seed, squalane, rose hip, peach kernel, and meadowfoam seed oils, in a gorgeous new bottle! My new Lavender version captures the scent of lavender flowers on the stem.

Lavender Face Elixir captures the aroma of lavender flowers on the stem. This nourishing treatment for the face is immediately moisturizing, softening, and conditioning. Add no more than a dropperful of the elixir to the palm of your hand and press your other palm against oil to warm the oil.  Then gently pat the oil into your clean face before bed. The lightweight non-greasy formula absorbs quickly into your skin. You will drift off to sleep in a light veil of fragrance that soothes and relaxes. When you wake up, your skin will feel wonderfully nourished and revitalized. Alternatively, add a few drops of face elixir to your foundation to nourish your skin and improve the texture.

Our lightweight face elixir is immediately absorbed softening and conditioning your skin. Use on your clean face before bed, and drift off to sleep in a light veil of fragrance that promotes relaxation. When you wake up, your skin will feel wonderfully nourished and revitalized.

Directions: Add some drops of the elixir to your fingertips and gently pat into your clean face before bed. This lustrous lightweight non-greasy formula absorbs quickly into your skin. You will drift off to sleep, in a light veil of fragrance that soothes and relaxes. When you wake up, your skin will feel silky, wonderfully nourished and revitalized.
Select Ingredients and Their Attributes:

• Cold-pressed Broccoli Seed Oil is high in vitamin A and Omega-9, 6 and 3 fatty acids, which help absorb and retain moisture in the skin quickly without leaving behind a greasy residue. The smooth, soft, silky texture  broccoli seed oil protects cells and is anti-inflammatory.

• Squalane (from olives) is an incredible antioxidant, helps retain healthy moisture, is nourishing to the skin and promotes cell growth. Squalane protects and supports and helps repair the skin.

• Rose Hip Oil is high in linoleic acid (45%) which absorbs quickly and deeply into the skin layers and carries plant nutrients to deeper layers.  Loaded with Vitamin A and C, rose hip oil is nourishing, good for fine lines and wrinkles, elasticity and firmness.

• Peach Kernel Oil has 60% oleic acid which helps maintain suppleness, flexibility and softness of the skin.  It is highly compatible with human sebum and able to carry nutrients deeply into skin layers.  Rich with Vitamin, A, B and E, peach kernel oil is emollient, moisturizing, nourishing, and protective.

• Meadowfoam Seed Oil is unusually high in gadoleic acid, a very long chain fatty acid that helps protect the barrier function of the skin.  This oil is anti-aging, detoxifying and rejuvenating.

Mandy Aftel is an award-winning all-natural perfumer and author. She creates each extraordinary Aftelier Perfumes fragrance by hand in small batches in her Berkeley, California studio.
Overall Assessment: This is, without question, the most extraordinary permutation of lavender that has ever graced my skin. It is so intoxicatingly beautiful that you do not need to have a penchant for lavender to fall deeply in love with this peerless luxury lavender face oil. A+

Beauty & Health Resolutions for 2020

Each year I think about the top skincare tips to consider. and while some remain the same from year to year– given their importance– old ideas also give way to new ones. Here are the things that I resolve to continue to do, or to start doing in 2020.

1) Always Wear a Sunscreen: It might not be sunny outside, but your skin still needs SPF protection. We are not exempt from excessive UV exposure even during the cold months of the year. There are so many high quality sunscreens on the market that will not disturb your makeup, and that offer UVA and UVB protection. I was told by a dermatologist here in Los Angeles, who treats skin cancer on a daily basis, that one should never step foot outside without using a minimum SPF 30 on all exposed areas of the skin 12 months of the year. I apply sunscreen to my face, neck, décolleté and hands in the rain or shine. Tip: Check the expiration date on all of your sunscreens, and toss and replace those that have expired.

2) Do Wear Sunglasses: Protect your eyes and the delicate area around them. Skin cancer and melanoma are real concerns, and the delicate skin around your eyes is quite vulnerable to the rays of the sun.  Furthermore, excessive exposure ages the skin, and therefore bigger sunglasses that cover more surface area will definitely help to stave-off unwanted premature fine lines and wrinkles.

3) Drink Plenty of Water: We all know that staying hydrated is very important, and drinking plenty of water is the best way to achieve this. Carrying a water bottle around with you is a great way to keep your body hydrated, and it also helps to flush out toxins, and this often translates to a much brighter complexion.

4) Get Plenty of Sleep: We all know that getting good sleep is vital to good health, and that sleep deprivation can wreak havoc on the body. So much happens in the body while we sleep, and often times things like puffy eyes, dark circles, a sallow complexion, fine lines and dull skin are a result of sleep deprivation. Rather than buying piles of products to treat each of these concerns, consider getting more sleep and let your body heal itself. Think about addressing the cause rather than treating the symptoms.

5) Clean Your Makeup Brushes and Beauty Sponges Regularly: Using your beauty blender sponges and makeup brushes on a daily basis means that they obviously become dirty, but they also can harbor all sorts of bacteria that can cause breakouts and infections. Get in the habit of thoroughly cleaning them frequently to avoid contaminating the makeup that they touch, and your skin.

6) Sanitize Your Cell Phone: Think about how often you use your cell phone, and how many times it is placed on surfaces in public places. If you actually knew how dirty cell phones are, they are bacteria magnets that are probably dirtier than a toilet seat at a gas station, then you might think twice about putting yours against your face. If you notice that you are having breakouts on your cheek, there is a good chance that your cell phone is the culprit. Clean your cell phone regularly!

7) Never Sleep in Your Makeup: This is bad for your skin for a whole host of reasons, not the least of which is the fact that you are impeding your bodies ability to naturally and effectively turnover dead skin cells at night when you have skin covered in makeup and all of the grime and pollution that you were exposed to during the day. Additionally, sleeping in eye makeup can actually encourage infections like pink eye, it encourages swelling, and small particles of makeup can actually scratch the eye and cause more serious infections. Invest in some good makeup wipes to remove your makeup before you go to sleep when you are too tired to do a proper job of washing your face. I always have several varieties on hand for just that reason.

8) You Don't Need to Buy Everything that Your Favorite Bloggers Use, Review or Feature: You have to remember that beauty bloggers are not normal consumers. Sure, we still buy plenty of products and receive press samples, but testing lots and lots of products is very different than using your daily Holy Grail products. Part of what we do, is test things so that you can gather enough information about how a product performs to either consider getting it, or to rule it out. Furthermore, quality skincare and makeup products are expensive– so why waste your money buying things that you know you won't use.

9) Just Because it's Trending Doesn't Mean it's Good (or that you should do it): Let's face it, trends come and go. Some are good, while others are regrettable and in hindsight end up downright embarrassing, and many are little more than marketing schemes to sell you stuff the you don't need in the first place. Just because it's the Pantone Color of the year doesn't mean that you have to paint your house that color, or wear it from head to toe. If you like a trend, and it works for you, then that's great, but exercise your free will not to jump on every bandwagon just because people claim that it's what's hot now.

10) Do Change Your Skincare Products Seasonally: Take a more pragmatic approach to your skincare routine. Evaluate the needs of your skin, and then select which products to use on any given day to tailor your routine. Just because your moisturizer works well for you the summer doesn't mean that it will in the winter. If you are prone to dehydration, then use a heavier lotion or cream, or add in a hydrating serum. The important thing is that you actually take a good look at your skin, determine any deficiencies or needs, and then add in or eliminate products accordingly.

11) Do Treat Your Hands, Neck and Décolleté as You Would Your Face: These three areas have a tendency to age faster, and show the ravages of time because of their inherent exposure to the elements coupled with the neglect that they receive. Why is it that they are so often an afterthought in our beauty routines?! The best thing that any of us can do early on is to nourish and protect these vulnerable areas. Pamper them with nourishing and hydrating serums and creams, and then slather them with sunscreen.

12) Do Scrutinize the Ingredients in the Beauty Products You Use: There are many ingredients that we slather on our skin that may not be very healthy for us. Remember that the skin is our largest organ, and products that we use are absorbed into our bodies. It is worthwhile taking the time to learn about the safety of the ingredients that we introduce into our bodies. The Environmental Working Group (EWG) has a cosmetics database, called EWG Skin Deep that rates products for their levels of toxicity, as well as individual ingredients. To learn more, visit: https://www.ewg.org/skindeep

13) Do Consider Adding Some Natural Products into Your Beauty Routine: We live in a chemical-laden world, and unless you vow to live the life of a penitent monk living in a cave in the mountains, then you will likely be exposed to plenty of harmful chemicals in your lifetime. Try to rotate a few healthy lipsticks, lip glosses, skincare etc. items into your beauty routine to give yourself a break from all of the chemicals in the mainstream beauty products that we use.

14) Do Exfoliate: Exfoliating is a wonderful way to remove dead skin cells from head to toe, and this allows your skincare products to work more effectively by allowing them to absorb more efficiently. Sometimes there is a tendency to over-exfoliate (by applying too much pressure), or to do it too often– refrain from doing either because you can actually injure the skin, break capillaries or cause irritation. Take a less is more approach and select a gentle exfoliator that does a great job without traumatizing the skin.

15) Do Purge Expired Products: No better time than the beginning of the new year to toss out old expired makeup and skincare products. Old and expired products are germ-havens that can cause a whole host of infections– so don't risk it. Many skincare products lose efficacy when used beyond their expiration dates, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they are contaminated and need to be tossed. Make sure to smell them, and if they seem in the least bit rancid then toss them. Old mascaras and lip glosses definitely harbor germs that you don't want to ingest or absorb into the skin, therefore when in doubt, toss it.

16) Do Consider Adding a Beauty Oil into Your Skincare Routine: You already know that I am a huge proponent of high quality beauty oils, and I have used them for many many years. However, in the last few years they have gained considerable traction in the marketplace, and as a result the market has been flooded with so many different varieties. If you have always been afraid to try one, or if you have oily skin and think it's counterintuitive to add oil to oily skin, then it's time to have a closer look at this phenomenon that has taken the beauty world by storm. First, there are different types of oils that address the needs of every imaginable skin type– including acne prone skin. Second, high quality oils deliver hydration deeper and faster than heavier creams, and can be exceedingly nourishing. There are wonderful beauty oils that range from the most affordable and easy to come by, to the ultra luxurious varieties with steep price tags. It's worth taking a deeper look, and if you don't know where to start, have a look at my Luxury Oils tab at the top of this website.

17) Do Think Twice Before Applying Skincare and Makeup Testers to Your Skin: Tests have found store testers to contain bacteria (such as E. coli), viruses, fecal matter, mold, and more. This is enough to think twice before trying that lipstick on. If you really want to try it, ask the SA if it is possible to open a new product so that you are the first to us it.

18) Do Consider Adding Retinol into Your Beauty Routine: Retinol, which is a Vitamin A derivative, is a highly effective ingredient that lightens hyperpigmentation, softens fine lines, increases skin turn-over, fights dull skin, and boosts collagen production. Just be sure to start out with a very mild (low percentage) retinol and patch test it first. Since retinol causes photosensitivity, it is a product best used at night. For this reason you need to make sure to be diligent about using your sunscreen to keep your skin protected (and to avoid hyper and/or hypo-pigmentation). If you have any moles, discoloration, uneven texture, precancerous lesions, undiagnosed skin cancer or melanoma– or anything that doesn't seem quite right– then make an appointment to have your doctor or dermatologist evaluate your skin before you try a treatment like Retinol-based products, or any physical and chemical exfoliants.

19) Add Hyaluronic Acid into Your Beauty Routine
: If you find that your skin is prone to dehydration, then adding topical Hyaluronic Acid into your beauty routine is a great solution for thirsty skin. It is an astonishingly effective humectant that attracts and retains water molecules from the environment and it rehydrates the surface of the skin swiftly. If you are a beauty blogger who repeatedly swatches on your arm, then be sure to add some Hyaluronic Acid underneath your moisturizer before you start your swatch-fest, your skin will thank you. Many products on the market contain Hyaluronic Acid, but you can also buy it separately. You only need to use a small amount, and the results are immediate.

20) Try to Stop Picking Pimples, Blackheads and Whiteheads: It's not just that you can damage the skin and cause scarring, but also because you transfer the germs from your fingers and nails right into your skin which can really exacerbate the situation. Use a spot treatment product to rid yourself of the breakout rather than turning a mole hill into a mountain. If you are looking to have extractions performed properly, get a facial from a licensed and reputable esthetician or from a reputable esthetics dermatologist. You can also ask them for a lesson on the proper technique for at-home extractions for your particular skin.

December 2019 Empties

Press Sample & Purchased (Affiliate Links)

I can't believe it is almost 2020, and that this is my last Empties post of the decade! I had hoped to use up a few more products this month, but for some reason I didn't. I seem to have been using up less and less, but what I do finish I thoroughly enjoyed using. I am also really trying to use up what I have, and only repurchase when I actually need something, or love it so much that I don't feel as though I want to go without.
Rituals The Ritual of Dao Silence 3 in 1 Hand Scrub: I was utterly obsessed with this effective cleansing hand scrub– it is gentle enough to use every single day, and yet it has the perfect amount of grit to effectively remove dead skin cells to reveal soft, smooth and supple skin. It has a wonderful White Lotus aroma that is a delight to the senses, but it does not linger very long after rinsing. Repurchase? I definitely would, but it appears that this may have been discontinued. They do, however, have another scent, and I will put it on my must-try list!

Rodin Olio Lusso Body Oil ($136.00 for 4 oz. from Sephora, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, goop, Neiman Marcus and Revolve): Rodin Olio Lusso Luxury Body Oil is a gloriously rich and moisturizing oil that deeply nourishes and hydrates even the driest of skin. I apply it sparingly right out of the shower, as suggested, while my skin is still warm and it soaks in quickly leaving my skin unbelievably soft and supple. It has the same intoxicating scent as the Olio Lusso Luxury Face Oil, but instead of Jasmine Oil as the first ingredient it lists Jojoba seed oil at the top of the list. During the colder months I like to add extra moisture to my skin- therefore adding a few drops of this to my body lotion (after having applied Olio Lusso alone) gives my skin a velvety smooth texture that is unbelievably soft and supple. Repurchase? I already have!
Dr Teal's Pure Epsom Salt Foaming Bath Soothe & Sleep with Lavender ($4.49-$6.79 for 34 oz. from WalgreensAmazonTargetUlta and Harmon): If you love the smell of Lavender, you need this lovely foaming bath treatment. Not only is the scent utterly divine, but the aromatherapeutic properties leave you relaxed with a pronounced sense of wellbeing. It leaves your skin luxuriously soft and moisturized, your mind calmed, and your body utterly relaxed. It is the perfect before bedtime treat that will facilitate a very restful slumber. This is ultra luxe on a budget! Repurchase? Absolutely!

Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt Body and Hand Wash ($25.00-$40.00 for 250ml from Nordstrom, Selfridges, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Net-A-Porter and Sephora): I had this sample sitting in my drawer, and on one cold evening I decided to use it as a bubble bath to warm up. I fell in love! The scent is described as, "Alive with the mineral scent of the rugged cliffs mingled with the woody earthiness of sage, this fragrance is lively, spirited, and totally joyful." My skin and bathroom smelled scrumptious after my long soak in the bathtub! Repurchase? I would definitely consider buying a bottle once I make my way through more of my bath and shower gels.
Anti-Oxi+ Skin Refining Cleansing Oil ($37.00 for 150 ml and $77.00 for 450 ml from Shu Uemura): This antioxidant-rich cleansing oil, which is formulated for all types of skin, gently and effectively lifts dirt, makeup and impurities from the skin without ever leaving skin stripped, and without an unwanted oily residue. I simply massage it into my skin and and a small amount of warm water to emulsify the oil, and aroma calms the senses while the skin is being nourished and cleansed. Skin is left undeniably soft, supple and radiant. It can be used by itself, or as the first step in a double cleansing routine. Repurchase? I actually already have another bottle!

Herbivore Brighten Pineapple + Gemstone Mask ($48.00 for 2.3 oz. from SephoraNordstromRevolveDermstore and Space NK UK): I received this deluxe sample as a bundled gift with purchase and I love it! This mask contains Pineapple and Papaya Enzymes in conjunction with Rice Powder and Brazilian Tourmaline to exfoliate dead skin cells. The Enzymes gently dissolve and exfoliate skin cells while the micronized Rice Powder and Tourmaline dislodge and sweep away the exfoliated skin. Because it is such an effective exfoliator, Herbivore suggests that this mask should only be used at night, and followed by a an SPF to protect the skin each day– which I strictly adhere to.

The consistency is a gel-like cream that is light and very easy to apply, and it is quite pleasant to use. I simply apply a thin layer and leave it on for about 15 minutes, or until it has thoroughly dried, and then I rinse it off with warm water. If you have very sensitive skin, you will not want to leave it on nearly as long. It is filled with potent actives, and it does tingle a bit, but on my skin it is neither painful, nor unpleasant. I would definitely recommend getting a sample if you have particularly sensitive skin, and spot test it for a very short duration to see if it is too active for your skin. Once I remove the mask, I note the my skin is slightly flushed, but only for a few minutes. Skin is left thoroughly cleansed, exfoliated, hydrated, soft, silky smooth and luminous. Repurchase? Definitely!

111SKIN Celestial Black Diamond Eye Mask ($115.00 for 8 packets from Bloomingdale's, Space NK, Net-A-Porter, Harvey Nichols, Dermstore, Neiman Marcus, Revolve and Cult Beauty): I received this eye mask set in a gift bag, and these black eye masks effectively reduce puffiness, reduce the appearance of dark circles, soften fine lines, and refresh the skin. Repurchase? I currently have a huge selection of eye masks, but I would definitely consider buying these once I use up what I have.
Rodin by Recine Olio Lusso Luxury Hair Oil ($70.00 for 1 oz. from Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, B.Glowing, Revolve and goop): This aromatic potion was formulated for RODIN olio lusso by renowned hairdresser Bob Recine. It combines six of the original emollient-packed RODIN olio lusso essential oils (apricot kernel, calendula, sunflower seed, sweet almond, neroli, jojoba) with rosemary and juniper. I have naturally curly hair and what this means in real terms is that it can have a tendency to be unruly, it has a predisposition to being on the dry side, and it often needs taming (otherwise I suffer the wrath of fly-aways and frizz).

After shampooing and conditioning I apply 3 drops of this oil to my hair (after warming it in my hands), and then I worked through my hair roots to tips. Generally I need something like a leave in conditioner or an emollient styling product to even have a chance at getting a comb or brush through my hair without tremendous difficulty. I was astounded by the fact that I was able to get a brush through my hair with this oil alone, but what was equally shocking was the fact that such a small amount of product left my hair glossy, gorgeous, and without any fuzz or frizz. This oil has the scent of the Rosmarinus and and Juniperus comes through giving it a pronounced green scent, but that does fade rather quickly. Repurchase? It's on my list, but I need to use up a few of my hair oils first.

Philip B pH Restorative Detangling Toning Mist ($12.00-$27.00 for 2oz.-4.23 oz. from NordstromDermstoreNet-A-PorterSkin Care RX and Beauty Expert): This lightweight detangling mist offers frizz-free manageability, nourishes the hair and leaves it with a gorgeous glossy shine. It has a pleasant light herbal aroma that I find very pleasant and calming. Repurchase? Definitely!
COCOFLOSS ($9.00 each. Available at SephoraCredo Beauty, Shen Beauty and goop): Cocofloss is a very effective dental floss that deeply cleans teeth and is gentle and soothing on the gums. It actually makes flossing something that I look forward to, and it is available in 4 coconut infused flavors: Delicious Mint, Pure Strawberries, Fresh Coconut and Cara Cara Orange. Repurchase? I already have, this stuff is great!

Overall Assessment: I had hoped to finish up a few more products in December, but I am happy that I was able to recycle these containers before the end of the year!

Any particularly great or awful products to report? Do tell!

I have just discovered an absolutely incredible exfoliating cleanser, and think that it is definitely worth trying. MyChelle Refining Sugar Cleanser is a thick, dense and ultra-creamy exfoliating cleanser that leaves skin ultra clean, soft, smooth and hydrated.

It is gentle, forms a creamy and satisfying lather, punctuated by small exfoliating particles, and it never strips the skin. Since it is dense and very thick, it takes a little bit of pressure to squeeze it out of the tube, but it is very concentrated– therefore you need only a tiny amount to clean your face, neck and décolleté. It has the most delectable warm and creamy vanilla aroma that makes using this lovely cleanser specially satisfying. Additionally, the Hyaluronic Acid keeps skin hydrated and soft. MyChelle products are cruelty-free and this exfoliating cleanser is made without GMOs, Gluten, Parabens, Petroleum, Phthalates, Silicones, Sulfates, Ureas, artificial fragrances or artificial colors, and it’s vegan.
According to MyChelle,

Natural sugar and intoxicating Vanilla-infused cleanser that gently exfoliates surface impurities as it transforms into a creamy, foaming lather—leaving skin radiant and refined. Boosted with anti-aging Matrixyl® Synthe’6™ Peptide, bioactive Plant Extracts, and Hyaluronic Acid to help keep skin hydrated

Directions: Dispense a small amount of cleanser on wet hands. Massage face and neck until sugar dissolves. Use more or less water to tailor your exfoliation level for your skin condition and concerns. Gentle enough for daily use.

Ingredients: Sucrose, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Canola Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Silica, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Vanillin, Zeolite, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38, Crocus Chrysanthus Bulb Extract, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate (L), Sodium Polygamma-Glutamate, Lonicera Caprifolium (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract, Lonicera Japonica (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract, Aqua (Water), Glycerin, Acacia Senegal Gum, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Water, Alcohol, Hydroxypropyl Cyclodextrin, Citric Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Benzyl Benzoate.
Overall Assessment: This is a really great exfoliating cleanser, and I wholeheartedly recommend trying it.

BARNEYS NEW YORK SALE ON SALE | TAKE AN EXTRA 25% OFF

Affiliate Links

It really pains me that Barneys New York is closing all of its stores, and is in the process of liquidating all of their stock. This sad event does provide shoppers with the rare opportunity to purchase luxury goods, with some brand exclusions, at deep savings. Barneys New York and Barneys Warehouse are currently offering an additional 25% Off of the already reduced prices. However, you need to be sure about the sizes of shoes and clothes that you order since all sales are final. There are still quite a number of amazing picks from their beauty stock, but they are selling out quickly– so if you see something that you have been wanting, I would recommend acting fast. I had my eye on a couple of things, and I waited too long and they sold out.

Barneys New York: Store Closing Sale. 30-50% Off Store-wide. Take an Extra 25% Off Sale. All Sales Final. Ends 12/26/19
