If you have curly hair, like me, then you know how much care it requires. Curly hair often tends to be dry, but even when it isn't many mainstream haircare products can strip the hair and leave it frizzy and unruly. Curly hair needs more moisture, and therefore it is imperative to be careful in the products used to cleanse, condition and style curly tresses. Malin+Goetz Clarifying Clay Mask is a wonderful multitasking clay mask that is perfect for combination to oily skin types. While my skin is normal to combination I do not find it in the least bit drying or irritating.
This mask utilizes natural pumice exfoliating particles in concert with bentonite and kaolin clay, therefore while the clay draws out impurities that clog pores, the exfoliating particles remove dead skin cells making it far easier to clear congested pores. I simply apply the mask to freshly cleaned skin and let it dry– I tend to leave it on between 5-10 minutes– then I dampen my hands with warm water and gently massage my skin to activate the exfoliating particles. Once I rinse my skin it is left soft, smooth and luminous. This mask is also remarkably effective when used as a spot treatment on breakouts, and I recently had a small breakout on my chin that this mask healed overnight.

Overall Assessment: I am so impressed by the efficacy of this healthy serum that I cannot sufficiently express the extent of my joy for having discovered it. The texture, aroma, efficacy and ultimate results make using this serum such an exquisite experience. I now must try their Superfood Serum since my penchant for luxury face oils knows no bounds. French beauty brand,Fleur's, knows a thing about beautiful skincare that is a pleasure to use. Brigitte Gédouin created Fleur's because of her love of "flowers, paintings colors, scents…" and therefore her collection, "is filled with the artistic world of its creator."
Fleur's makes a few really remarkable exfoliants for the face and body that I have had been rather obsessed with, and after using them for a while I thought that I would share my thoughts with you.
Fleur's Intense Exfoliating Cream ($44.00 for 1.6 oz. from LeSpa USA): This effective physical exfoliant gently, and immediately, removes dead skin cells, impurities and any remaining makeup. It leaves skin soft, smooth, supple and luminous without stripping the skin. It has a lovely light floral aroma that is incredibly pleasing to the senses without being in the least bit overpowering.

Furthermore, it lightly plumps fine lines and leaves skin remarkably smooth. It has a lovely light floral aroma, but it is neither long-lasting, nor overpowering.

Fleur's Delightful Body Exfoliating Mist ($53.50 for 3.3 oz. from LeSpa USA): I am thoroughly obsessed with this exfoliating body mist– it is unlike anything else that I have tried. It has the most gorgeous floral aroma, it hydrates and refreshes the skin, and it effectively exfoliates dead skin cells. Simply spray it on your body, gently massage the skin and let it do the rest.

Overall Assessment: If you are looking for effective exfoliants, that are gentle and effective, Fleur's exfoliants are definitely worthy of your consideration. I cannot sufficiently underscore the extent to which it is important to use sunscreen in general, but it is extra important to remember to use sunscreen liberally and very often when exfoliating your skin– which leaves it more vulnerable to the elements.
