As a lifelong French Pharmacy product fanatic, it took no time at all for me to fall in love with Vichy's fantastic array of products. Here are some of my top picks for the warm months of summer.
About Vichy,

In 1931, Dr. Haller, a medical director at the thermal treatment center in Vichy, France, discovered the therapeutic virtues of Vichy Thermal Spa Water on skin. Originating more than 2000 years ago in the heart of Auvergne’s volcanoes, this extraordinary water, rich in 15 beneficial minerals and antioxidants, was found to improve skin quality, soothe sensitivity and accelerate the healing of skin wounds.

Convinced that skin health is the true source of beauty, Dr. Haller pioneered the first line of dermocosmetics powered by this mineral-rich water. Today, this very water, known as Vichy Thermal Spa Water, is still sourced from the same location in France, and is at the core of all Vichy skincare formulations.
Vichy Aqualia Thermal Face Serum ($36.00 for 1.01 oz. from Vichy, Amazon, Dermstore, TargetKohl's, Walgreens and Escentual): This remarkably lightweight mineral-rich and thermal water-infused serum, which includes Hyaluronic Acid as among its star ingredients, immediately melts into the skin imparting superior hydration. It is perfect for the warm weather, and it is so light on the skin that it never feels heavy, even in humid weather. It is the perfect pick-me-up for dehydrated skin, and is the perfect summer serum. It has a very faint, clean, aroma– but it is neither long-lasting, nor in the least bit imposing.

According to Vichy,

Aqualia Thermal Serum provides immediate and long lasting 48-hour dynamic hydration and smoothed fine lines. It helps retain water and reinforces the skin’s moisture barrier function. Skin is moisturized and protected even under temperature variations. It is formulated with 97% natural-origin ingredients including Hyaluronic Acid, plant sugar and Vichy 15 mineral-rich thermal water. Paraben-Free.

Vichy Aqualia Thermal Rehydrating Rich Cream ($31.00 for 1.69 oz. from Vichy, Amazon, Ulta, Target, Walgreens, Dermstore and Escentual): This is a very rich and moisturizing cream, and yet it melts into the skin without leaving behind a thick or greasy residue. It contains Hyalaronic Acid, for superior hydration, and it leaves skin infinitely moisturized. It softens the appearance of fine lines, but plumping them, and it leaves skin incredibly soft and smooth. While it lists fragrance among its ingredients, I detect no aroma to speak of. While this cream is formulated for normal to dry skin types, it works beautifully for my normal to combination skin. It is a great choice for the warm weather since it really boosts moisture levels.
