I received an email from a longtime reader who asked me to select a few of my very favorite RIMMEL LONDON Lipsticks and glosses that I reach for the most, and it took no time to decide whatsoever. I love the Rimmel London The Essential Nude Lip: Lasting Finish Lipstick By Kate in No. 40 and 41, and their Oh My Gloss! in 100 Smart Pink. These lipsticks are my favorite shades of nude peach and nude pink, and the gloss is a non-sticky, high shine oil tint in sheer pink that I love. Furthermore, they are affordable and easy to find, and since RIMMEL has long been one of my favorite drugstore brands– it is no surprise that I would have fallen for this trio. They layer and mix well together, and are stellar on their own.

RIMMEL LONDON The Essential Nude Lip: Lasting Finish Lipstick By Kate ($5.79-$9.50 each exclusively at WalmartWalgreens and Target): is the perfect nude lipstick collection with a wide range of nudes for every skin-tone, the are comfortable to wear, and are affordable!

RIMMEL LONDON claims that you will get 8 hours of wear out of these lipsticks, but as an avid water and coffee drinker I don't experience that level of longevity. There is also a sheen to these pretty lipsticks that means that there is more transfer to my cup as I sip my water and coffee throughout the day. I will say that the formula feels fantastic and hydrating on my lips, and it boasts excellent pigmentation in a single pass.

These lipsticks have the same fruity scent that Rimmel London Lipsticks are known for, and while I don't find it overpowering– people who prefer fragrance-free lipsticks may want to smell them first to see if it is too much for them.

According to RIMMEL LONDON,

Rimmel introduces The New Nude Collection by Kate Moss, A Sophisticated Palette Of Delicate and Chic Shades for Lips Designed by the Supermodel Herself.

Claims:
Up to 8 hours of long lasting nude colour.
There is a nude for every girl! Find your perfect nude.

41: is described as a pink nude. It is a fantastic neutral pink nude.
RIMMEL LONDON Oh My Gloss! in 100 Smart Pink ($5.99 each for 0.22 oz. from WalgreensKmartUlta and Target): These oil tint Lip glosses were made with me in mind: the colors are gorgeous and highly saturated (though 100 Smart Pink is my most sheer shade), they contain the perfect amount of shimmer and shine, and have a lightweight, non-sticky texture. Furthermore, they are very comfortable on the lips, and they are lightly moisturizing. The doe-foot applicator applies the gloss evenly, and it neither migrates, nor does it bleed into lip lines. I get a few hours of wear-time per application, and repeated application throughout the day does not result in drying out my lips.  It has a light semi-floral scent that is not heavily perfumed, and the scent fades soon upon application.

According to RIMMEL LONDON,

...Non sticky, lightweight formula that provides a cushion soft feel giving true colour and high shine that lasts up to 6 hours. Lip loving formula with Argan Oil and Vitamin E.

Features:
• Up to 6 hours of colour, shine, comfort and moisture for your lips.
• Lip Loving gloss with Argan Oil and Vitamin E.
• Featuring Rimmel’s ‘Gloss Lock’ technology, which delivers an elevated, long-lasting 3-dimensional shine.
• Non-sticky, lightweight and comfortable to wear.

Top to Bottom: RIMMEL LONDON The Essential Nude Lip: Lasting Finish Lipstick By Kate in 40, 42 and Oh My Gloss! in 100 Smart Pink.
Overall Assessment: I wear these all of the time, and because they are so well-loved I usually carry at least one of them on me at all times.
