HOURGLASS Ambient Strobe Lighting Powders and the Ambient Strobe Light Sculptor are the latest releases from this phenomenal line. My full review is forthcoming very soon, but I will tell you that I am very impressed by the the three items that I received. The powders are ultra finely milled, they glide across the skin effortlessly, and they deposit pigmentation evenly. They neither settle into pores, nor do they emphasize fine lines. They are absolutely stunning, and leave skin with a gorgeous ethereal glow.
The Ambient Strobe Light Sculptor is a wonderful sponge made to apply the Ambient Strobe Lighting Powders to the skin either wet or dry, and it is nothing short of a brilliant tool to apply these gorgeous powders.
Ambient Strobe Lighting Powders are best applied with the Ambient® Strobe Light Sculptor – they can be used wet or dry to achieve varying levels of intensity, taking you from day to night.

The new Ambient Highlighters look stunning. You are making long for them! I guess Beauty Blender like devices are a thing these days. I received one with a flat side along with PUR Cosmetics Cameo Contour, and truth be told, I like it even more than my beloved BB!
ReplyDeleteThey really are stunning, Allison! I gasped when I opened their boxes and saw them. I will get working on my full review and swatches going when I get home from teaching tomorrow. You are so right about the beauty blender devices gaining so much traction lately! Interesting that you prefer the PUR Cosmetics version to the original BB! HOURGLASS did an excellent job with theirs as well!
DeleteThese look wonderful, but I'm annoyed that Hourglass has come up with a new application tool… for $22 no less!….. after I shelled out for the original long, narrow brush that they introduced when the highlighters first came out. The sponge sounds more effective for application, though...
ReplyDeleteHi Kim, They really are wonderful. I suspect that they thought that the new applicator would be more effective for applying these new powders both wet or dry. So far, in my testing, I definitely see this tool as being super effective and efficient with these new powders. You can certainly apply these powders without it, but it is worth looking at to see if you think you would use it. :-)
DeleteThe quality with Hourglass is so fantastic. I have some of their blush and love it. Their packaging is beautiful also. I would love to have more!
ReplyDeleteIt definitely is! I have some of their blushes as well, and love them so much! I think that you would really like these new Strobing Powders!
DeleteThese powders are so beautiful on everyone else! I wish they worked for me.
ReplyDeleteThey are gorgeous! Why don't they work for you, Courtney?
DeleteI've seen these Hourglass highlight compacts here and there and they're a re a temptation to me!!!
ReplyDeleteAt the oment I'm using a gold but subtle Pupa Like a Doll highlighter.:)
I can't live without some warm shine
xoxo and have a nice day!!!
These new Strobing Powders of theirs are really gorgeous, Valentina! Their highlighters are all quite lovely! That gold Pupa highlighter sounds gorgeous! It's nice to get some warm shine!
DeleteI really want to try these because it looks like it would blend perfectly! <3
ReplyDeleteThey really do blend to perfection!
DeleteHourglass is seriously my weakness! These strobe powders have been on my radar, I have quite a few on wish list!
ReplyDeleteTheir products are a weakness for me as well, Julie! It's definitely worth having a few of these!
DeleteI have a trio of these highlighters from last year. Do you think the sponge would make them work better? I don't want to buy more of the Ambient Highlighters when I don't use my palette enough.
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried this sponge on the regular Ambient Highlighting Powders yet, but I imagine that it would work. I will experiment with it and let you know. I suspect that it was created to pair with these brand new Strobing Powders because they can be used wet or dry, and for that reason a sponge type of applicator is so well suited to the job.
DeleteOoh, these are very tempting! I wasn't sold on the idea of the applicator, but you're warming me up the idea and ease of it.
ReplyDeleteThey are so much more gorgeous in person! I really like the applicator, and think it's definitely worth checking out.
DeleteIridescent and Incandescent are calling to me.
ReplyDeleteThose two are absolutely gorgeous!
DeleteI was back and forth on getting these. I might try them out though
ReplyDeleteThey are definitely well worth checking out in person!
DeleteOh wow, these look so gorgeous! That sponge looks like its prefect for applying them too.
ReplyDeleteThey are gorgeous, wait until you see the swatches! The sponge is really perfect for applying them! These are a hit in my book!
DeleteI haven't tried any hourglass highlighters yet, but I love their blushes!
ReplyDeleteI love their blushes too, and think that you might feel the same about their lovely highlighters!
