Barneys New York LOVE Yourself Bag Event officially kicks off today. You can now make your purchases online and in the stores, for those among you who didn't make your purchases during the presage.

I have already pre-ordered with Irene last week...And I cannot wait to receive all of these amazing product!!!Just wondering does she always send the bag fast during the event??
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! What did you end up ordering? Irene is absolutely wonderful! She always tried to get things sent out very quickly, but sometimes things get jammed up in the shipping department because of the HUGE volume of sales that they do during the bag event. Since you placed your order last week, you will probably get it sooner, rather than later.

DeleteI doubt that you need to be concerned. The shipping department gets so backed up during this event because they sell so much volume. THe people who tend to get them really fast are the ones who preorder really really early.
DeleteGot my product today!!!The gwp is HUGE!! However, I didnt get the step-up from CPB and shiseido....and there is no substitute......thats a pity.....but still this is a great event...(if you are lucky enough to get all the gwp and step-up gift)
DeleteI ordered with Irene last week. I didn't get a notice from Irene; I got a notice from FedEx. I have an account with them online and they notify me whenever a shipment is coming my way.
DeleteIrene was off from work for 3-4 days for the holiday weekend, and I know that she's been crazy busy since the event officially began. I'm not sure if she would be ably to send out shipping notifications.
DeleteHi Jiaying, I am so happy for you that you received your package from Barneys already! I'm not surprised that they were already sold out of some of your step-up gifts– that often happens since they sell such a tremendous volume of products during this event. It helps to shop early, if you know what you want to get, but sometimes it's hard to decide what to get! I hope that you enjoy everything that you received! :-)

ReplyDeleteNo, I don't think that there is anything to be concerned about. The people who received their products early pre-rdered at the beginning of the pre-sale. As it gets closer to the event, and once the event actually begins, the shipping department has so many orders to process (the volume is staggering) that it takes a bit longer.
