Le Métier de Beauté Créme Fresh Tints for Lip & Cheek in Poppy & Mystique- Review & Swatches

Le Métier de Beauté has done it again with their exquisite Créme Fresh Tint for Lip & Cheek ($28.00 for 0.17 oz). This extraordinary and versatile product is sure to wow everyone who loves a versatile lip & cheek tint- because it is of the highest quality imaginable.
Créme Fresh Tints come in 5 gorgeous shades- of which I have two. Le Métier de Beauté describes Créme Fresh Tints as, "A luxurious hydrating formula that instantly imparts a radiant glow to the lips or cheeks. Smoothed over makeup or applied nude, like a traditional powder blush, this crème-based tint goes on soft, relaxing into the skin, instead of laying on top. Enhances the natural vitality of cheeks and lips with a natural looking, glitter-free effervescence. This superior formula, designed to evaporate on the skin, leaves no paraben or silicone residue, to creating the effect of a true, natural blush or just bitten lips. Water resistant for use as a natural lip stain or for a brilliant shine." I cannot contest a single one of their claims- the product absolutely lives up to what they say!
On the cheeks Créme Fresh Tints impart a lovely natural glow from within, and the formula is neither oily, nor unnaturally shiny. One instead has a naturally flushed appearance that is subtle and oh so beautiful.

On the lips, this product applies in a surprisingly opaque manner that I found to be a rather unexpected and pleasant surprise. I detected a subtle sheen with the slightest bit of sparkle that makes this a definite winner. While I found it gorgeous all by itself, I also love the look when topped with a lip gloss (I have tried both Chantecaille and LMdB- and both formulas were stunning in this application).
Poppy (on the left) is a medium neutral leaning bright pink with a very refined pearl luminescence at its base. While Poppy looks a little scary in the pan, I assure you that it isn't in the least bit so on the skin. Mystique (on the right) is a cool leaning pink with a lavender lilac base, and it has a very lovely and refined golden pearl luminescence that makes it a real stunner!
Overall assessment:  Le Métier de Beauté has quickly become one of my Holy Grail makeup lines, and the Créme Fresh Tints for Lip & Cheek have quickly earned my undying affection. If you love multipurpose hardworking products of the highest quality-- then this is for you! I WANT MORE!

    1. Hi Gummy, I don't find them particularly moisturizing, but I don't find them in the least bit drying. My lips dry out pretty easily with many lip products, and I haven't found that to be the case with these at all. I do mostly wear them with a gloss on top though-- not out of necessity, but more because I really like the effect! I would say that it's worth it for you to swatch them next time you are near LMdB counter.
