Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Blush Glow Light to Medium | Review and Swatches #CHARLOTTETILBURY

Purchased (Affiliate Links)

As you know, I am so smitten with my recent purchases of Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic Swish & Pop Blusher in Love Glow and Love is the Drug (Reviewed HERE) that I was prompted to track down and purchase the much raved about Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Blush Glow Light to Medium. While I do not tend to reach for bronzers often, the one featured in this duo is so beautiful that I had to have it. I have cool-toned skin, and therefore I avoid orange-hued bronzers, and those with the tendency to oxidize, and therefore I felt reasonably certain that this one would work for my skin.
Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Blush Glow Light to Medium two ultra-finely milled powders that feel silky-smooth, and creamy, to the touch. Both glide across the skin effortlessly, deposit color evenly, and they neither emphasize pores, nor do they settle into fine lines.

The neutral, and very flattering, bronzer is a skin-flattering light tan shade that is punctuated by luminous golden pearl that gives the complexion an ethereal glow. It offers sheer to buildable coverage, and can be used as a bronzer and a contour shade. I am pleased to say that it remains true-to-color, and never oxidized on my skin.

The blush, which is a very flattering neutral soft pink, has the perfect amount of golden pearl for a glowing, lit-from within, flush that is so beautiful on the skin. The color is a fairly close match for Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic Swish & Pop Blusher in Love is the Drug, and therefore if you are trying to select one or the other, then Filmstar Bronze & Blush Glow Light to Medium should be your choice if you want a bronzer too, otherwise save yourself some money and purchase Love is the Drug.

The palette, which includes its own brush, is the perfect size for travel, and the elegant Deco-inspired palette is pretty enough to leave out on your vanity. The small brush, which appears to have synthetic bristles, has a short handle and a full size head, and works perfectly with the palette.
According to Charlotte Tilbury,

Darlings, my Filmstar Bronze & Blush Glow combines the iconic sculpt shade to contour your features for a fabulous red carpet ready framework and a soft pink blush with finely crushed pearls for a limitless glow. The Mini Artistry Blush Brush comes with this bronzer & blusher palette to make application a breeze.

Features:
• Create sculpted killer cheekbones with a subtle radiant blush to enliven your complexion.
•The bronzer is a blend of super flattering pearls and pigments to help naturally contour your face, and mimic that all over sun-kissed skin.
Directions: To use, start by applying the Sculpt color to the areas you want to sculpt and define: the hollows of your cheeks, temples, jawline, sides & tip of your nose. To apply the blusher, dip the Mini Artistry Blush Brush in the centre of the blush shade and tap off the excess. Apply to the apples of your cheeks to make them pop and glow. Blend the colors seamlessly together, using circular motions with your brush.
Charlotte’s Tip: Use this bronzer & blusher palette with the Wonderglow face primer to illuminate your complexion for a true red carpet look.

    1. If you know that you won't use the bronzer side of this duo, then it definitely a better idea to save some money and pick up one of her blushes instead! I can't wait for your counter to open– you are going to be rendered speechless by all of the tempting things that you will want when you see them all together in the same place!!!!!

    1. I highly recommend this palette– especially since you have, and love, Love Glow, and if you are inclined to use the bronzer! The bronzer works very well on fair skin, and it isn't orange and it doesn't oxidize! I think that you would really love it, and it boasts the same quality as her blushes!
