Kleem Organics Jeunesse Intensive Rejuvenating Vitamin C Serum | Review

I am a huge fan of Vitamin C based serums, but their general popularity means that there are so many in the marketplace that it can be a daunting task to select one. Vitamin C serums, when potent and effective, fade sun spots, brighten the complexion, aid in tightening and lifting the skin, and create an overall improved appearance of the skin.

Kleem Organics Jeunesse Intensive Rejuvenating Vitamin C Serum is a lightweight, fast absorbing and odorless liquid serum that works wonders on the skin. In addition to doing what Vitamin C serums are supposed to do, Kleem Organics included additional ingredients to nourish, plump, and hydrate the skin. My skin is more even in tone, feels soft and supple, is hydrated, nourished, and fine lines are plumped. Furthermore, it is radiant and glowing. This is a very nice Vitamin C Serum, and the price is phenomenal!

Key Ingredients and their attributes:
  • Hyaluronic Acid rehydrates your skin
  • Jojoba Oil restores plump, youthful skin
  • Witch Hazel enhances skin elasticity, reducing fine wrinkles and tightening the skin
  • Aloe Vera coats your skin with nourishing co-factors
Kleem Organics asserts that, "your skin will love the rich amounts of Vitamin C… Vitamin E … and Arginine – highly effective nutrients that do all the “hard work” of making your skin looking as young as when you were a kid!"
According to Kleem Organics,

Kleem Organics Vitamin C Skin Care Line serum comes packaged in an airtight container, thus preventing oxidation of any of its ingredients. The pump on the bottle delivers metered doses, so you get exactly what you need to nourish your skin every day, no need to worry about the right dosage, simply press the pump and you are done!

In a world dominated by artificial ingredients and chemicals, Kleem Organics made a big step towards a completely new approach in skin care. It identified a way of altering the skin cell genetic make-up to promote a rejuvenated, healthier-looking, radiant skin in just 14 days! The results are obtained using only NATURAL and ORGANIC ingredients including Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid, Witch Hazel, Jojoba Oil Aloe Vera and several others.

UPDATE: I am not sure precisely what Kleem means by "altering the skin cell genetic makeup to promote rejuvenated, healthier looking, radiant skin" since any product that alters the DNA has to be regulated by the FDA and dispensed with a prescription from a practicing physician. I suspect that this bit of hyperbole was intended to describe its ability to give the skin a radiant and rejuvenated glow, and I can attest to the brightening effects, but not to its ability to alter the "skin cell genetic make-up."

Ingredients:
Overall Assessment: Kleem Organics Jeunesse Intensive Rejuvenating Vitamin C Serum is a very nice Vitamin C serum that also hydrates the skin. It is amazing to find such a high quality serum that does what it asserts in terms of brightening and moisturizing, and that is easy to find and affordable. Nice job!

  1. My sweet one,
This sounds really good. I am still very happy with my Tata Harper but I'd love to add vitamin C to my regime. Yes, I was in a conference but I did not present. I went there to be interviewed. I will tell you more details via email later on, once I know something since right now all is a big dream. So far, I haven't heard many good things so I am hoping something else comes my way. Have you heard from you TT line? Sending many many many good vibes. It is about time this manifests for you. You deserve it!
many hugs to you and the pretty ones.

    1. Hello my dearest! You should stick with what is working! I wouldn't add in anything that could in any way disrupt the balance that you have created in your skin! I would't add any oils, and I would keep using the Tata Harper serum since it is clearly working!

I figured that it had to be a conference! I hope that you get the interview. My fingers are crossed for you! No word on the TT line yet! I'm trying hard not to stress out about it, but would certainly like to know whether or not she has my packet in hand! Who knows whether they have even begun reviewing them yet! I am sending you tons of good vibes and my fingers are crossed that the one that you want manifests for you too! Enjoy the rest of the weekend! xoxox

  2. "It identified a way of altering the skin cell genetic make-up to promote a rejuvenated, healthier-looking, radiant skin in just 14 days!" If that were true of this particular product, then it would be a drug regulated by the FDA. Saying it "identified a process" could simply mean that someone read an article somewhere, but the implication is that the product somehow utilizes that process to alter genes to produce a more youthful look. Kleem skates around the FDA by referring to a process rather than their actual product. Unfortunately, that distinction would be lost on many people who would think this was some kind of wonder product. It's easy to say caveat lector, but the sad reality is that many people are taken in by such misleading copy.

As for Kleem's Amazon page, it is riddled with misleading and deceptive advertising. For example, there is a short paragraph citing Dr. Oz's comment in 2012 about the topical application of Vit. C, but there is nothing to support Kleem's implication that Oz was talking about their product. Kleem also states it uses FDA approved ingrediants (duh!), but that is not the same thing as the actual product having undergone FDA testing to see if it did, in fact, alter genes and create skin "looking as young as when you were a kid." As for Kleem's claim that because the ingrediants are "natural" they will not cause any irritation, balderdash! There are many things found in nature that are extremely irritating--poison ivy, anyone? I could go on and on, but I won't as I think I adequately made my point. If I can't trust how they market their product and the claims they make for it, how can I trust the quality and consistency of their product? I can't!

    1. Excellent points, as always Eileen. I have to say that it is a very nice vitamin c serum, but you raise excellent points. I did not comment or address their quoted point about "altering the skin cell genetic Make-up" and should have noted that sounds like unsubstantiated marketing fluff, and that this was precisely why Lancôme got into so much trouble with FDA because their claims about the altering of DNA with their Génifique line. I will say that it definitely has given my skin a brightened, radiant, plumped appearance, and the radiance and evenness is like other vitamin serums that I have tried before. While I think this is a nice serum, I do think that you raise excellent points. I did not see the Dr. Oz claims about which you speak on their Amazon page because I quoted their claims form their website and press materials. Of course your point about natural products being irritating is true, and people have allergies to naturals things just as they do to those that are made in a lab. Despite some misdirected marketing choices the product is actually quite good, otherwise I wouldn't have used it long enough to write a review, and would have thrown it out instead. I think that the real problem isn't the product or its quality, but instead with the things that you have so clearly stated. I will definitely use up this entire bottle because I am pleased by the results, but I think that you are quite right in making the points that you did!

  3. I like Kleem Organics Vitamin C Serum, and I think it's especially good for those with oilier skin who prefer a light serum. Kleem recently reformulated it to add more citrus scent & make it less herbal-smelling. The men who own Kleem are very nice, and one is a biochemist, I think. Their claim about altering DNA may be linked to their spiritual & meditative beliefs though I don't know for sure.

  10. I like Vitamin C serums as well. I like that your brought up the unfounded "claims". I'm iffy on that part. Let's just say it's a marketing jargon that lacks substantiation.
