On Cloudmonster 1 Running Shoe in Gobi Lily was a splurge, even though my gift cards covered it, but what a worthy splurge this was. These shoes are heavenly on the feet. They are so supportive, lightweight and unbelievably comfortable. For years my friend has been telling me to get a pair, and I just wish that I hadn't waited this long. I wore them out-of-the-box on an all-day trip to a museum, and my feet felt amazing the entire time.

HOKA Mafate Speed 2 Sneaker in Iris Flower/White on Sale at Nordstrom

I had a variety of Nordstrom gift cards and Nordstrom Notes that I needed to redeem, and I was in need of some supportive shoes for lots of walking, and I found two pair of sneakers/running shoes and two pair of thongs to purchase with those cards and notes. The first serious find was this pair of Hoka Mafate Speed 2 Sneakers in Iris Flower/White. Normally $170.00, I got them for $99.99, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. These shoes are remarkably comfortable, supportive and my feet were happy in them without any uncomfortable break-in period. They are made with very durable Vibram soles, but they do not feel heavy on the feet. They are unisex shoes and the box reflects the women's and men's sizes. My foot size is a 7, and the women's 7/men's 6 proved to be the perfect size for me.
