Dr. BRID C Dual Effect Basic Mask Review

Press Sample (Affiliate Links)

Dr. Brid C Dual Effect Mask is a hydrating and soothing microfiber sheet mask that nourishes and pampers the skin, and in as little as 10 minutes it leaves skin dewy, glowing and happy. If you are a fan of moisturizing sheet masks, then this cruelty-free K-Beauty gem is definitely worthy of your consideration. I love a good sheet mask, and on a particularly hot day, I like to pull one out of the refrigerator for a refreshing skin treat.

According to Dr. BRID C,

A quick skin reset when your skin needs extra care. This essence-rich sheet mask delivers hydration and nourishment for smoother, refreshed skin.
Claims:
  • Powered by our patented peptide that helps deliver peptides into the skin to support the skin's natural barrier — shown to increase C-Peptide (a key indicator of collagen synthesis) levels by 175.3%
  • Formulated with Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 and a Plant Stem Cell Complex (Raspberry, Pomegranate, Sea Buckthorn). This dual-action formula helps improve the appearance of fine lines while supporting the skin's natural elasticity.
  • Infused with Sodium Hyaluronate and Betaine to help deliver intensive moisture into dehydrated skin. The ultra-microfiber sheet ensures optimal absorption for a plump, dewy finish in just 15 minutes.
  • Each mask is saturated with 28ml of a high-concentration essence packed with Niacinamide, Vitamin C, and Resveratrol to help improve the appearance of dull skin tone and defend skin from oxidative stress — the equivalent of a full size ampoule in a single mask.
  • Free from synthetic fragrances and parabens. Dermatologically tested for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
Directions: Apply mask to clean skin. Leave on for 10–15 minutes. Remove and gently pat remaining essence into skin.

Dr. Althea Stretchfit Calming Pad Review

Press Sample (Affiliate Links)

Dr. Althea Stretchfit Calming Pad is best described as an unusual sheet mask that actually stretches to adapt to wherever you place it on the face, neck or body. It has no detectable scent, and it drenches the skin with hydration. It is very soothing and calming on the skin, and since my skin can get irritated and inflamed when I use products that make my skin reactive, I have been able to test whether it really does calm irritated skin. In fact, I used this mask after a product irritated my skin and left it a bit red and uncomfortable, and it really calmed down after I masked. It comes with tweezers to lift the individual sheets, and a small paddle to separate the sheets for ease of retrieval. I like that it comes in one large tub, rather than in 50 individually wrapped masks since it is more environmentally friendly.

According to Dr. Althea,

StretchFit Calming Pad stretches freely to fit any area, calming your skin while providing deep hydration. Enriched with cooling Erythritol to soothe sensitive, overheated skin and 1% Panthenol to deliver long-lasting hydration while strengthening the skin barrier.

Cica Complex, enriched with Madecassoside and Centella Asiatica, soothes irritated skin, while Zinc PCA controls oil and provides antibacterial and anti-inflammatory benefits to reduce breakouts.

Benefits:

  • Calming Relief for Irritated Skin
  • Instant Cooling Effect
  • Stretchable Sheet for Seamless Adhesion

Directions: After Cleansing, apply to skin and leave for 10-15 minutes. Use on the neck or other body areas if needed.

Ingredients: Water (Aqua),Butylene Glycol,Glycerin,1,2 Hexanediol,Erythritol,Arginine,Panthenol,Carbomer,Ethylhexylglycerin,Xanthan Gum,Polyglyceryl-4 Caprate,Polyglyceryl-6 Caprylate,Disodium EDTA,Zinc PCA,Centella Asiatica Extract,Decyl Glucoside,Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract,Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract,Cladosiphon Okamuranus Extract,Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract,Coffea Arabica (Coffee) Seed Extract,Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Leaf Extract,Pinus Densiflora Leaf Extract, Asiaticoside,Madecassoside,Asiatic Acid,Madecassic Acid.
Overall Assessment: This mask offers lots of hydration, and it really did calm down my irritated skin after I had a negative reaction to a product that I had tried. I like this mask– it is effective and affordable.
