As previously noted, Rösle Stainless Steel Mixing Bowls have been on my radar for many years. I have long-loved this German brand's products, established in 1888, and was aware of them even when I was a teenager working in a gourmet kitchen store. After purchasing their set of 3 their stainless steel nesting mixing bowls, and the largest mixing bowl, I told you that I would likely purchase their two smallest bowls so that I could have a full set of 6 in all of the sizes that I needed. Well, I simply couldn't help myself and I purchased them, and I couldn't be happier. All of them are made in Germany, though some of their manufacturing is now in China, but the 6 that I received were made in Germany.

The six together feature the perfect graduated sizes, and I couldn't be happier with my purchases.

A few of my favorite glass mixing bowls broke over the years, and I knew that I wanted a full set of high quality stainless steel bowls, and this was really the only brand that I was considering. They are built to last forever, and are worth the price because the quality is extraordinary. They have some weight to them, and they are very stable. The flared rim makes pouring really easy, and the mixing bowls are very comfortable to handle.

While the set of three is unmitigated perfection, I knew as soon as I received them that I was going to need the largest one that was not included in the set, and ordered it that very day! And as you can see, since then I purchased the two smallest bowls shown above.
Rösle Stainless Steel Mixing Bowl 11" and 9 quarts ($71.98 from Amazon): I am delighted by this large bowl, it was precisely what I was looking for, and it nests perfectly with the set of three bowls. If you do not need a large mixing bowl for your common kitchen tasks, then the set should absolutely suffice, but I always need a really large bowl for a variety of cooking and baking needs. Sizes from largest to smallest: 11 inch diameter and holds 9 quarts, 9.4 Inch diameter and holds 5.7 quarts, 7.9 inch diameter and holds 3.3 quarts and 6.3 inch diameter and holds 1.7 quarts.Overall Assessment: While Rösle is less well known in the United States, it is quite well known throughout Europe, and it is definitely a brand worth exploring if you love to cook. It is such a pleasure using these bowls, and their other products are also exceptional. I am so happy that I purchased the largest and the smallest bowls to complete my set.
