Covet-Worthy Pink Lips from TRUE Isaac Mizrahi | Review

I have long held that Isaac Mizrahi is a creative genius, and when he launched his TRUE Isaac Mizrahi makeup line I was thrilled. My first encounter with the line (featured HERE) left me impressed and wanting to further his products, and I am very glad to have had this opportunity.

These beautiful pink lipsticks, lip glosses and the lip liner are absolutely the perfect hues for the season, and the quality is excellent.

TRUE Isaac Mizrahi Lip Definer with Sharpener in Mauve ($18.00 for 0.04 oz. from QVC): This  ultra-pigmented lip liner boasts a creamy consistency that lends itself to gliding across the skin effortlessly, and without ever tugging. It deposits color evenly, is long-wearing, and offers beautifully saturated opaque color and coverage. Mauve is a beautiful buildable true mauve that is stunning whether sheered out, or built-up. The antioxidant formula, coupled with the use of jojoba oil, leaves lips nourished and lightly moisturized– making this a very comfortable lip liner to wear. This is a long-wearing lip liner that lasts most of the day on my lips.

TRUE Isaac Mizrahi Sheer Lip Shine in Baby Bottom ($18.00 for 0.12 oz. from QVC): I have always loved and worn lip gloss, but I really prefer comfortable, non-sticky variants that are long-wearing. Isaac Mizrahi's Sheer Lip Shine formula is comfortable on the lips, is non-sticky and offers a light veil of moisture. Baby Bottom is a sheer baby pink with gorgeous pink pearl that adds dimension to the lovely lustrous shine. The peppermint oil causes a slight tingle, but I didn't find it in the least bit uncomfortable, but instead would characterize it as refreshing.

This TRUE Isaac Mizrahi Sheer Lip Shine offers see-through color and shine for gorgeous, glossy lips. Peppermint oil and vitamin E team up to help condition lips from the elements while leaving them looking glamorous.

TRUE Isaac Mizrahi Satin Lip Shine in Girls ($18.00 for 0.12 oz. from QVC): The Satin Lip Shine formula, while still on the more sheer side, offers more pearlized pigmentation that the Sheer Lip Shine Formula. It is also very comfortable on the lips, is non-sticky, and it offers light moisture. Girls is a beautiful rosy pink that offers some pigmentation while allowing the natural color of the lips to show though. The beautiful lustrous shine twinkles and glistens to perfection. The peppermint oil seems less detectable than in the Lip Shine formula, and isn't in the least bit uncomfortable. This formula seems to have light plumping effect.

Lavish color meets sophisticated shine. TRUE Isaac Mizrahi Satin Lip Shine coats lips with glistening color and a satin finish. Satin Lip Shine is infused with peppermint oil and coffee extract to help accentuate the natural-looking fullness of your lips.

TRUE Isaac Mizrahi Matte Lip Color in Cutie ($24.00 for 0.12 oz. from QVC) and TRUE Isaac Mizrahi Matte Lip Color in Hooray! ($24.00 for 0.12 oz. from QVC): These gorgeous matte lipsticks and lightweight, long-wearing, and they neither migrate, nor feather. They boast ultra-saturated opaque color ad coverage, and are absolutely stunning in every way.  They will emphasize and accentuate dry lips– therefore prepping your lips ahead of time is essential if your lips tend to be dry. I find the formula neither drying, nor moisturizing. I detect no fragrance. or flavor in this formula.

This lightweight, feather-proof formula provides a long-wearing silky finish.

Cutie is a gorgeous mauve and Hooray! is a bright, and highly saturated hot pinks.

TRUE Isaac Mizrahi Pure Lip Color in Bikini Bottom ($24.00 for 0.2 oz from QVC): The Pure Lip Color boasts a lightweight and moisturizing formula that glides across the lips effortlessly, and deposits color evenly. It has a creamy consistency that feels so good on the lips that you might think the you are wearing an emollient tinted lip balm, but instead this is a highly saturated lipstick formula that looks and feels amazing on the lips.

Bikini Bottom is a beautiful and bright luminescent pink punctuated by a touch of purple. It is absolutely divine in every conceivable way!

TRUE Isaac Mizrahi Sheer Lip Shine in Looker ($18.00 for 0.12 oz. from QVC): is a non-sticky, see-through pink lip gloss that has a light plumping and moisturizing effect. It offers a gorgeous shiny finish without over doing it, and offers just a kiss of color. The minty flavor is refreshing without excessive tingling, and it isn't in the least bit uncomfortable on sensitive lips.

This TRUE Isaac Mizrahi Sheer Lip Shine offers see-through color and shine for gorgeous, glossy lips. Peppermint oil and vitamin E team up to help condition lips from the elements while leaving them looking glamorous.

TRUE Isaac Mizrahi Nail Lacquer in Kennedy ($10.00 for 0.5oz. from QVC): is a gorgeous hot pink that offers full opaque coverage in two coats. The formula is neither too thick, nor too runny, and two coats dried surprisingly quickly. I have worn it for a week without any chipping or peeling.
