IKARIA Beauty RENEW Daytime Fytó Retinol Serum is the second product from this lovely brand that I have tried, and like the IKARIA Beauty Ageless Beauty Balm (Reviewed HERE), this is an impressive cruelty-free skincare product that is effective and a pleasure to use. This serum features the plant-based retinol, Bakuchiol, and it can be used day or night.

IKARIA Beauty RENEW Daytime Fytó Retinol Serum gently, and effectively, exfoliates dead skin cells revealing soft, supply and radiant skin. Unlike many retinol skincare products, this antioxidant-rich serum leaves skin hydrated rather than dry. My skin can, at times, be sensitive, and yet I experienced no redness, drying or peeling. I do, however, slather on high SPF sunscreen to keep my freshly exfoliated and revitalized skin protected. After sustained use, I noted that my little dark spots of sun damaged skin visibly lightened. This serum has a faint herbal aroma, from the ingredients not added fragrance, but it is barely detectable.
