ViaBuff allows for custom exfoliation because they have taken into account that while all skin needs to be exfoliated, that not all skin can tolerate the same level of friction. They have carefully calibrated their buffs at a variety of levels to accommodate the needs of even the most sensitive skin types.
ViaBuff is an economical choice in that each buff retains a high level of moisture, and it therefore requires very little cleanser (whether for the face or body) to achieve an enviable lather. The large surface area of each buff allows you to exfoliate large areas of skin at the same time– therefore it is a very efficient tool.

I urge you to use a light hand, rather than aggressively pressing the buff into your skin– this is a very effective and efficient body buff, and it doesn't require the exertion of a lot of pressure. This leaves the skin unbelievably soft, smooth and supple,. Furthermore, the removal of excess dead skin cells allows for the deeper penetration of body oils and moisturizers, and you will be able to use less product to achieve great results.

Overall Assessment: I am very impressed by the quality and efficacy of the ViaBuff products that I have tested. In addition to using a light-hand, I also highly suggest letting your Body Buff Body and Face Buffs air out in a cool dry environment. The shower is such a haven for the proliferation of bacterial growth, and thus it is inadvisable to leave them in the shower. I definitely recommend ViaBuff.
