The Covid-19 surge is quite bad in my area, and rather than a carefree summer ours was underscored by double-masking, social distancing, avoiding crowds, constant hand-washing and the use of lots of hand sanitizers. In one of my recent PR packages I discovered a travel size bottle of Carefree Skincare Professional Hand Sanitizer, and I put it right to use. They make lightly scented and unscented professional grade hand sanitizers, and they sent me the lightly scented variety. The scent is quite faint, and unobtrusive, and it fades very quickly. The gel texture immediately liquifies upon contact with my hands and it is non-sticky. Furthermore, the formula is moisturizing, rather than drying, despite the fact that it contains 63% ethyl alcohol, thanks to the inclusion of glycerine and Vitamin E.

Ethanol (Ethyl Alcohol) vs Isopropyl Alcohol: There are generally 2 alcohols for use in hand sanitizer. We chose SUSTAINABLE Ethanol (Ethyl Alcohol) over the less desirable Petroleum based ( Isopropyl Alcohol).

- 63% ethyl alcohol. Glycerine and Vitamin E combine to make this a hand-softening product. Mild fragrance; dissipates rapidly.

- Hand Sanitizer that exceeds FDA, CDC, and WHO guidelines for performance

- Passed outside clinical testing that confirms killing 99.99% of germs and bacteria

- Nourishing gel that leaves hands soft, not dry, even after multiple uses

Note: CDC, FDA, WHO all agree 60% Ethanol will kill 99.99% of the germs and bacteria as opposed to 70% required for Isopropyl to work.

Overall Assessment: I am very impressed by this hand sanitizer, and love the fact that my hands aren't left dry and chapped.
