About Nuori,

NUORI is a beautiful Danish brand that was founded in 2015, the same year that we founded Boxwalla! And we are thrilled to celebrate their 10 year anniversary with an exquisite duo that evokes a Summer in Scandivania. 

NUORI was founded by Jasmi Bonnén who is originally from Finland. Her partner Peter Bonnén, who is Danish, now works with her to run this beautiful brand. The brand is headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark where all the products are made fresh, in small batches. And this freshness is reflected in the name. NUORI is a Finnish word that means ‘young and fresh’.

Nuori Vital Repair Serum ($69.00 for 30ml): This beautiful lightweight emulsion is formulated to soothe, reduce inflammation, deeply and instantly hydrate the skin and offer intensive antioxidant protection. That it is lightweight and ultra-fast absorbing makes this a perfect hydrating serum for the warmer months of the year. While it is lightweight it is likewise incredibly emollient and creamy, therefore it is quite satisfying to the touch, and it leaves skin velvety soft, smooth, supple and hydrated. This is one of the most lovely serums that I have used in a very long time, and I am already constantly reaching for it– and for me, it is a summer favorite.

As noted by Boxwalla, "It contains plant-based, bio-fermented sorbitol complex & chamomile flower that have calming & anti-inflammatory properties. Aloe vera juice soothes & hydrates while Vitamin C & licorice root extract provide potent doses of antioxidants that help fight free radical damage."

Nuori The One ($79.00 for 30ml): What a gorgeous cream this is! It has a rich and luxurious texture, and yet it is thoroughly lightweight, fast-absorbing and it is neither greasy, nor sticky. Skin feels incredibly soft, supple, calm and richly moisturized by this cream. This moisturizer works perfectly with the Nuori Vital Repair Serum, and together they are a perfect pairing for the summer.

Filled with Peptides, Niacinamide, Squalane, Vitamin C Ester, and Ceramides, this nourishing cream delivers the skin tangible benefits in one magical gem of a cream. Overall Assessment: This is my first encounter with the Danish brand Nuori, and I am so impressed by these two products that I am planning on trying more of their products. This is a stunning curated Boxwalla Beauty Box, and I highly recommend getting it before it sells out, and it definitely will. A+
