Lord & Berry Jamais! Sheer Lipstick in Taboo, which is described as a Berry Pink-Red, is an ultra-emollient pinkish-red, or reddish-pink lipstick, that feels fantastic on the lips. It has a very creamy consistency, a high shine finish and it is very pigmented. While it is described as sheer, it provides ample color saturation and offers sheer to medium coverage. It glides across the lips with effortlessly, deposits color evenly and it doesn't migrate when I wear it. It is cruelty-free and made in Italy. While it lists fragrance among its ingredients, I neither detect a smell nor a taste.

In the tube, you would think that this was a classic tomato-red lipstick, but once it is swatched the color undergoes a visual metamorphosis.

According to Lord & Berry,

Against the Double Delight Rose, Taboo appears to be a plummy-red shade, but see its transformation against the white Iceberg Rose below.

In the tube, the bullet looks more like a warm tomato red– especially when photographed against the white Iceberg Rose.

Once swatched, the pink undertone comes through, and it clearly isn't a tomato red as the bullet would suggest.

Overall Assessment: This is such a gorgeous, and inherently wearable, pink-red lipstick. I am in love with the formula, and can hardly wait to try more shades from the Lord & Berry Jamais! Sheer Lipstick collection. A+
