Westman Atelier Lit Up Highlight Stick in Lit Review and Swatches

GWP (Affiliate Links)

Westman Atelier Lit Up Highlight Stick in Lit is a glassy and clear iridescent highlighter with a stunning multicolored, and pink-leaning, sheen that imparts a gorgeous ethereal glow to the skin without harsh glitter. This solid gel highlighter still can be used anywhere on the face that you want to be luminous, but it can also be used on the lips, in the cupid's bow, the corners of the eyes and on the collar bones. This formula is sublime– it gently glides across the skin and deposits color evenly and it neither emphasizes pores, not fine lines. I love to wear it on my cheek bones after I have applied my blush, and I love the light pink sheen when I wear it on my lips. It is absolutely gorgeous, and I am now eyeing the Lit Up Highlight Stick in Nectar (see below). It is no surprise that I am a huge fan of Westman Atelier brushes and makeup, and the more products that I try, the deeper my love grows for this spectacular beauty brand.
According to Westman Atelier,

Multitasking gel highlighter for facial-fresh clarity. Glassy finish. This clean, translucent gel highlighter imparts skin with facial-fresh, radiant clarity. Flattering, light-catching undertones and skin firming ingredients leave a dewy, glassy and unforgettable finish. A quick and hydrating way to perk up dull skin. Dab across cheeks, bridge of nose, cupid’s bow, lips and lids.
No silicones, no parabens, no PEGs, no phthalates. No animal testing.
Gucci posits, "I keep this on hand to rejuvenate my skin throughout the day. Glide it onto tops of cheeks, cheekbones, cupid's bow and tear ducts for subtle iridescence and clarity. This jelly-like highlighter refreshes skin when it feels dull or parched. I love how skin looks just after a facial, and Lit Up mimics that clean, clear, impossibly fresh effect."

    1. She really knows how to make very flattering highlighters that don't make one into a walking disco ball! I really love this highlighter a lot, Marcia. They also make them in two sizes, so one can try them out before splurging on the full size.

  2. Oh my, the pink leaning iridescent shade you bought is so tempting! Plus I love the little fat stick container.

    1. Isn't it stunning, Allison! Gucci Westman really makes such lovely products, and the containers are really wonderful as well. Plus, I have managed to find some of her wonderful sets on sale at substantial savings– so I have found that a little patience can result in luxe product purchases without the luxe price tag. This highlighter was actually a GWP with my recent Westman Atelier sale purchases at Nordstrom!

  3. Hi, Lola - I never seem to get around to using highlighter, but this sounds so awesome...especially because it can do so much. And the availability of smaller sizes makes it easy to experiment. I really look for that all the time when I try new things because of my sensitive skin. I value your recommendation. I must get one and try it out! Thanks for sharing beautiful things - Angie, www.yourtrueselfblog.com

    1. Hi Angie, If you ever do decide to use a highlighter, Westman Atelier does them really well. I highly recommend this brand, without any hesitation. My skin can be quite sensitive, and so far I have only had good luck with this brand! <3
