Trader Joe's Honey Mango Moisturizing Cream Shave

Purchased Over and Over and Over Again

Trader Joe's Honey Mango Moisturizing Cream Shave is an emollient, moisturizing and delectably aromatic shaving cream that is very effective and such a pleasure to use. It should be noted that while it is a non-foaming shave cream that it neither clogs the razor, nor does it leave behind a greasy film, and it is very well suited for sensitive skin. It gives a very clean and close shave and leaves skin silky smooth and soft. It has a wonderful honey mango scent, but it does not linger. My husband and I both use and love this, and therefore we tend to buy 4-5 tubes at a time so that we don't run out. This shaving cream is so popular, that my Trader Joe's sometimes even runs out, and you have to wait for them to restock! It is our absolute favorite shave cream, with an incredibly affordable price tag ($3.99 for an 8 oz. tube), and it has pride of place among a very short list of toiletries that I repurchase over and over again.

According to Trader Joe's,

If it’s a clean, close shave you desire, and you’d prefer your skin be left silky-not-stubbly, Trader Joe’s Honey Mango Moisturizing Cream Shave will fill your wishes without emptying your wallet. This Cream was specifically formulated for us without the use of harsh ingredients and is tested for gentleness. In fact, we designed it for sensitive skin—it’s cream based, non-foaming, free of parabens, and enriched with aloe vera & vitamin E.

Many high-end brands advertise their moisturizing shave creams as being gentle and non-irritating. And then they charge you handsomely for the favor. That’s not very gentle. We’ll happily provide the gentle, non-irritating shave cream, along with a gentle price. Trader Joe’s Honey Mango Moisturizing Cream Shave is an excellent everyday skincare product for both men and women, with a refreshing honey mango scent.

In specialty skin care boutiques and department stores, you’d pay considerably more for a cream of this quality— and you’d have to make another stop. At Trader Joe’s we deliver not only great values, but shopping convenience as well. Oh, and a clean, close shave.

Directions: For unequaled shaving ease, rinse skin thoroughly with warm water, leaving wet for a few minutes. Using a small amount of Cream Shave, apply a thin, transparent layer over damp skin. Shave normally, rinsing razor frequently.

Overall Assessment: I just can't recommend this shave cream highly enough. If you are interested in trying a new shave cream that is amazing, that happens to be cruelty-free, then you just can't go wrong with Trader Joe's Honey Mango Moisturizing Cream Shave,

  2. I was so mad when TJ's closed the store near me. Their new location is huge but far. When we go though we stock up. I'll have to check this shave cream out.

    1. That's too bad that the new location is far away from you! I highly recommend adding this to your list for your next trip– you won't regret it!

  4. It does sound wonderful in terms of consistency and scent. Over the past year or so, i have given up shave cream and have been using shower gel or emollient bar soaps. As my body hair no longer grows as fast or thick as it once did, I haven’t felt the need. But now I’m wondering what I am missing!
