Rahua Elixir the Holiest of Holy Grail Hair Oils

I have been singing the praises of Rahua products for quite a while now, and their eco-friendly and cruelty-free haircare gems are unquestionably my most reach-for and cherished treats for my curly tresses. Rahua Elixir, which is formulated for all types of hair, is a wondrous minimum ingredient hair oil that is eco-luxe, cruelty-free and otherworldly. It is, in a word, superb.

It is a very concentrated luxury oil with "super fine rahua molecules" that deeply penetrate the "hair's cortex to rebuild" even the most damaged hair. That I have natural curly dry hair gives me ample opportunities to test the veracity of their claims, and what I have consistently noted is that my hair is more manageable, soft, sleek, shiny, moisturized and healthy looking. It conditions my scalp, fights frizz and fly-aways, and its antioxidant-rich and nourishing formula protects and revitalizes my hair and scalp beyond all expectations. It has a wonderful earthy aroma that is informed by its clean blend of Ungurahua, Rahua, Palo Santo oils. However, it is neither overpowering, nor long-lasting.

While it can be used as a deep treatment and rinsed out, I tend to use it on a daily basis on damp or dry hair. I warm up a tiny amount in my hands, and then massage it into my scalp and throughout the length of my hair.
According to Rahua,

A powerful restorative hair and scalp treatment derived from 100% Amazonian symbiotic® rahua oil. Rahua oil fortifies weak, damaged strands and provides nourishment to help maintain the health of the scalp and hair follicles. Palo santo oil, known as 'holy wood' and revered by Amazonian shamans, adds a sophisticated, earthy aroma while providing a soothing aromatherapy experience.

Key Benefits:
- Repairs, strengthens, and restores damaged hair
- Delivers long-lasting moisture and high shine
- Calms, soothes, hydrates, and protects the scalp

Directions: For daily use, massage 1 to 3 drops into hair and scalp. Do not rinse. For deep treatment, massage a full dropper into hair and scalp. Leave in for 15 minutes or longer, then shampoo and rinse hair. Use every 2 to 4 weeks to see reconstructive results.
Free of sulfates, phthalates, parabens, petrochemicals, mineral oil, silicone and talc; also free of gluten. Cruelty-free & Vegan. Made in the USA.
Ingredients: Ungurahua oil (Oenocarpus bataua), Rahua oil, Palo Santo oil (Bursera graveolens).

Individual Ingredients and Their Attributes:

Rahua Oil (Unguruhua): "Amazonian women have for eons depended on the oil from this tree nut to nurture and strengthen their hair. It fortifies weak and damaged hair, nourishes and maintains hair follicle and scalp health, and its super-fine molecules push color pigmentation deep into the hair shaft, greatly extending color endurance. Skin benefits from its generous supply of omega-9 fatty acids, which tone, calm, and smooth the skin and restore its natural moisture balance."

Palo Santo: "Known as “holy wood” and prized by Amazonian shamans since the Incan era for its spiritual purifying properties, the essence of this wild tree is Rahua’s signature scent. Its sophisticated, earthy aroma offers a soothing aromatherapy experience."
Overall Assessment: There is no question that this ultra-luxe hair elixir has a matching luxury price tag, but if you can make this worthwhile splurge, then I highly recommend this magical golden elixir. If you are seeking a comparatively affordable hair oil, then the Rahua Legendary Amazon Oil is a wonderful choice at a fraction of the cost. It has been my experience that you simply can't go wrong with Rahua.

    1. While my hair is curly, it is actually fine as well, and it works beautifully for me. It will not leave your hair limp, and you only need to use the very tiniest amount for great results. Yes, I definitely think that you could use this, and that your hair would benefit greatly, but the key is using a very small amount.
