Lavido Nurturing Hand Cream with Bulgarian Lavender | Review

Press Sample (Unaffiliated Links)

At the expense of sounding a bit like a broken record, I am currently obsessed with rich and nourishing hand creams because it has been an unusually cold winter, and my hands have taken a beating as a result. Add to the mix that I wash my hands regularly to try to avoid all of the flu and cold bugs that are going around, and my hands are perpetually dry, if not chapped.

My most recent discovery is Lavido Nurturing Hand Cream with Bulgarian Lavender, Evening Primrose Oil & Shea Butter, and it is among my current obsessions. This nourishing hand cream is rich, emollient and deeply moisturizing, and yet lightweight and fast absorbing. It is filled with lots of rich hydrating oils and shea butter that leave a light moisture barrier, but without a greasy mess. It has a light lavender aroma that sits close to the skin, and that is neither cloying, nor long-lasting. I have found that this cream leaves my skin very soft, smooth and supple, and I like it so much that this tube now lives in my purse.

According to Lavido,

Nourish and soften your hands with organic Bulgarian Lavender Oil, Evening Primrose seed and Shea Butter. Formulated with Hyaluronic Acid to soothe and repair even extremely dry and chafted skin. For all skin types.

About Lavido,

Lavido was established in 2003 by herbalist Ido Magal. What began as a homegrown business has now grown into the largest natural and organic skincare company in Israel....

Lavido’s commitment to progressive technologies through innovation and research is exemplified by our use of ingredients such as plant-based hyaluronic acid, while the extraction methods we use ensure a highly effective product.

Our oils are diffused, infused, or cold-pressed using the most natural extraction processes including mechanical extraction, a non-chemical water-based distillation process that separates the vital oils from liquids. Mechanical extraction best retains the active essentials of the plant, nut, or seed being used.

Lavido is equally committed to cutting-edge technologies, provided they meet strict natural guidelines, such as CO2 extraction. CO2 extraction is an eco-friendly chemical process that retains the active qualities of the plant and also allows for selective essences to be extracted.
Overall Assessment: This is a wonderful hand cream, and I suspect that I will buy another tube once I finish this one. A+
