BEAUTYBIO Contouring Rose Quartz Roller and Radiance Rosehip Seed Facial Oil Set | Review

Purchased (Affiliate Links)

I have been seeking a Rose Quartz Face Roller face for a while, and truth be told I have found most of them quite flimsy, over-priced and underwhelming. Given their popularity, everyone seems to be making them, and to say that it isn't a level playing field seems to be a bit of an understatement.

I finally found one that thoroughly impresses me, and while it was my intention to buy the BEAUTYBIO Contouring Rose Quartz Roller alone, they were sold out and so I purchased the BEAUTYBIO Contouring Rose Quartz Roller and Radiance Rosehip Seed Facial Oil Set instead. I didn't really need the kit because I have a lot of face oils at the moment, but I decided to buy it anyway.

The set is really quite charming, albeit more expensive than some, but well worth the added cost because of the excellent construction and high quality materials. The dual-ended Rose Quartz Roller is made from100% pure Brazilian Quartz, a heavy gauge metal surround and a thick and dense clear lucite handle.

This face roller relaxes the muscles, encourages lymphatic drainage and de-puffing and helps promote circulation. The small end is perfect for under your eyes and the large end is just the right size for larger surface areas of the face, neck and décolleté. Additionally, when used in conjunction with your face oils and serums it does an enviable job pressing them deeper into the skin, and it feels incredible. If you want to go for added de-puffing, or you just want a thoroughly refreshing experience, then store your face roller in the refrigerator. You will wonder how you lived without it, as I now do.

According to BEAUTYBIO,

Each stone is unique and carefully selected from the top 10 percent of graded rose quartz for its purity and energy noted by your stone’s color density, constant coolness to the touch, and solid weight.

Benefits:
- Helps instantly contour and reduce facial puffiness.
- Promotes lymphatic drainage.
- Helps tighten and reduce the appearance of pores.
- Works to improve skin texture and tone.
- Provides a calming facial massage and cooling sensation for stress relief.
- Minimizes appearance of dark under-eye circles.
- Hand-selected from the purest, sustainably harvested rose quartz in Brazil.
Included in the kit is a full-size BEAUTYBIO Radiance Brightening Omega + Rosehip Seed Facial Oil ($70.00 value), and it definitely deeply hydrates the skin and gives it a wondrous luminous glow. It has a slightly pungent earthy aroma when you first apply it, but that fades very quickly. It is a very nice face oil that leaves skin soft, silky-smooth and nourished.

According to BEAUTYBIO,

The Radiance Brightening Omega + Rosehip Seed Facial Oil is a lightweight, fast-absorbing, and layerable brightening facial oil that works to improve hydration, radiance, tone, and texture. Age-defying Rosehip Seed works to rewind the clock by blurring the appearance of fine lines and boosting skin's natural glow. Omegas that are strong in vitamin E help to soothe inflammation and the appearance of redness, while natural antioxidants rescue skin from the oxidation process, keeping it plump and dewy. Seal in this oil’s benefits with our hand-selected, 100 percent pure Brazilian Quartz Roller. The dual-ended tool works on the face, eye, and body promoting lymphatic drainage and reducing facial puffiness to help de-puff, contour, and seal in benefits of any skincare routine.

The kit also includes The Quench Quadralipid Recovery Cream that I have only just started to try, but it is a small sample that doesn't offer enough product for a proper review.

This Set Contains:
- Contouring + De-Puffing Rose Quartz Roller
- Small draw-string pouch to protect the Rose Quartz Roller
- 1 oz/ 30 ml. The Radiance Brightening Omega + Rosehip Seed Facial Oil
- 0.17 oz/ 5 ml. The Quench Quadralipid Recovery Cream

According to BEAUTYBIO,

The Quench is your AM and PM nourishing facial moisturizer with quadralipid and lactic acid technologies that work to restore the four key lipids (good fats) responsible for skin's protective barrier, bounce, hydration, and radiance. This is an ideal recovery cream for dry climates, dry skin, long flights, and post retinol, clinical, or microneedling treatments.

-Use the smaller end to target the eye area and repeat the outward long strokes following the lines of your brow bone and cheekbone.
-To contour and sculpt (putting your face back into place), begin at the jawline moving upward in short gentle strokes to push skin’s fluid back into place after a long day of enduring gravity’s pull.
-Apply The Quench Quadralipid Rapid Recovery Facial Moisturizer directly to face and massage gently, avoiding the eye area.

BeautyBio Tips:
-When not in use, store in refrigerator for an instant spa-level cooling experience.
-To clean your Rose Quartz Roller, wipe gently with a damp cloth and towel dry after each use.
Precautions: When rolling above the eye with the Rose Quartz Roller, follow the curvature of the brow bone and refrain from rolling directly on the eyelid.
Overall Assessment: If you are looking for a high quality Rose Quartz face roller– I highly recommend the BEAUTYBIO Contouring Rose Quartz Roller. This kit is a good value, but if you don't need another face oil, then you can save $38.00 and just purchase the face roller alone. I am very happy with my purchase, and it was definitely worth spending a little more for a better quality face roller.

$98.00 for the Set from Sephora, Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus.
$60.00 for the Roller alone from Sephora, Selfridges, Harrod's, Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus (Affiliate Links).

  1. The rose gold and quartz is such a pretty combo. I have a white jade one that I like. Today at Peabody Essex Museum's Chinese Empress exhibit, they had a roller from, I think, the early 19th century that was part of one of the empress' beauty product stash. How cool is that?

    1. I agree, it is a really pretty combination! White jade is gorgeous! I think that it is so cool that you saw one at the Peabody Essex Museum from the early 19th century! THat's so amazing!

  2. Do you prefer the quartz over the jade rollers? If so, why? Thanks.

    1. Hi Cindy! Merry Christmas! I don't have a jade roller, only this rose quartz roller. I selected rose quartz because it is said to heal, reduce inflammation and enhance skin cell renewal. I don't know whether those attributes are transferred to the skin, but this roller definitely makes my skin feel and look fantastic. It definitely de-puffs (which is amazing when my allergies impact me) and it leaves skin so smooth. It also is a very practical way to help massage serums and face oils into the skin. So far, this is the nicest quality one that I have seen. So many of them are very expensive and surprisingly flimsy and lacking in quality. I wanted to buy one that would last, rather than fall apart quickly. Which ones have you been considering? Do you actually one any? What are your thoughts?

    2. I have a jade roller that I believe I got from Cult Beauty. It is not sturdy, though, and is always coming apart. I am very lax with using it so I can't really speak to any benefits received from consistent use.

    3. My guess is that you don't use it often because it always comes apart! That's why I held out until I found a high quality one– I knew that I wanted to use it a lot, and I had heard far too many people complain about the way in which theirs either fell apart remarkably fast, or that they were constantly having to put it back together while using it. If you really want one that works well, this one does not disappoint.

  3. I love my face roller and it helps me a lot. When I had a cold I used it on my nose and it helped me feel less sinus pressure. I need to use it tonight for the puffiness under my eyes.

    1. SO far, this is the best quality that I have found. While it's not the least expensive, it certainly isn't flimsy and unimpressive like so many that I have seen. The set is beautiful, but the headliner is definitely the Rose Quartz Roller, and if you don't need another face oil, then you can save money purchasing the roller alone.
