Since the winter is giving way to the spring, this is the perfect time to select refreshing fragrances to welcome in the warm weather. Lately I have been reaching for my LAVANILA Vanilla Lavender and Vanilla Grapefruit Fragrances because they are refreshing, exhilarating and utterly delectable. In fact, each time that I wear either of these two fragrances people give me such high praise for smelling so good. They both sit close to the skin, and they boast impressive longevity.

According to LAVANILA,

Each fragrance starts with a warm base of Madagascar vanilla and layers on a unique blend of pure essential oils for an exquisite expression of nature that captures a mood, a memory, or a moment in time. Hailed as the world’s first healthy fragrance, natural technology infuses organic sugar cane alcohol with skin-saving botanicals and antioxidants for a modern twist on the classic art of perfumery.

LAVANILA Vanilla Lavender Fragrance ($58.00 for 1.7 oz from LAVANILA, Skin StoreMacy's and Sephora): This wonderful combination of Madagascar Vanilla and Spanish Lavender yields the most warm and creamy blend of these two aromas. The vanilla softens the edges of the lavender– transforming it into a smooth and creamy vanilla-based floral. It's intoxicatingly beautiful, and perfect for the warm weather.

According to LAVANILA,

Innocent and fresh, this clean and floral blend of Spanish lavender, rose absolute, violet leaf, and warm Madagascar vanilla is peaceful and romantic. An oasis of tranquility awaits.

Notes: Spanish Lavender, Rose Absolute, Violet Leaf, Madagascar Vanilla.
Style: Fresh. Clean. Floral.

LAVANILA Vanilla Grapefruit Rollerball ($19.00 for 0.33 oz. from LAVANILA, Macy's and Sephora): This combination of warm Madagascar Vanilla and tangy pink grapefruit is such an unexpected surprise. The vanilla warms up grapefruit and transforms it into a creamy, warm citrus.

According to LAVANILA,

An uplifting citrus, this addictive blend of juicy pink grapefruit, fresh lime, crisp cedarwood, and warm Madagascar vanilla is fresh and inviting. Kissed by sunshine, this unique scent lifts the spirits.

Notes: Pink Grapefruit, Lime, Bergamot, Orange, Cedarwood, Madagascar Vanilla.
Style: Exotic. Sensual. Addictive.
Overall Assessment: These bottles will likely be empty by the end of summer! If you seek healthy fragrances that perfectly embody the warmth and freshness of the spring and summer– then LAVANILA fragrances are worthy of your consideration.

  1. Interesting since I'd never have gone near it with lavender in its name but it sounds like a great citrus scent.

    1. You can still detect the lavender, but the vanilla really mellows it out! The grapefruit one would probably appeal to you much more.

  2. They both sound so pretty! I've actually only ever tried their deodorants, I didn't realize they had fragrance too!

  3. I love LaVanila products, and I did buy a rollerball of the plain Vanilla. Unfortunately, in spite of their lovely scents, they don't work well with my body chemistry. So I enjoy sniffing the tester in the store, and I buy their other products instead.

    1. That's too bad– their fragrances are so lovely! It's all in the body chemistry though. In fact their are some fragrances that smell so amazing in the bottle, but then do not get along with my body chemistry at all!
