Thank you Helen! I'm still holding out for the Barneys Bag!ReplyDelete
Absolutely my pleasure, Nina! Hopefully I will have the Barneys information before too long, but since it's not until next month it will probably be a while before they release any information. Hopefully it's an amazing bag!Delete
Oh wow! What a score! I love the bag that they come in too. Definitely similar to the Barney's bag :)ReplyDelete
They always do such an amazing job on their gift bags! There is often some cross-over since they carry some of the same brands, and because those particular brands tend to participate in bag events. It will be interesting to see what Barneys does next month!Delete
I just picked up my order and bag. I also participated in the in store event and had a Tata Harper facial which was very nice on my skin and quite informative.ReplyDelete
YAY!!!! What did you end up buying? Are you happy with your GWP? I have had a Tata Harper facial before as well!Delete
I purchased a set of 5 Artis brushes, a Tata Harper cleanser and a Bumble & Bumble conditioner.Delete
What great picks, Cindy! That Artis 5 piece set is absolutely stupendous! You will definitely enjoy those for many years to come! I have tried samples of the Tata Harper cleanser and thought that it was quite lovely! You certainly can never go wrong with a Bumble & Bumble conditioner! Now you have some time to contemplate your BNY purchases for the event next month!Delete
Yes, too bad Barneys doesn't carry Tata Harper.......Delete
Yeah, that would definitely make your BNY LOVE YOURSELF selections easier!Delete
Wow! Lots of great stuff. That bag is cute, too.ReplyDelete
They definitely always do very impressive GWP bags! I agree, the bag is super cute!Delete
WOW. I want!!! Especially that Diptyque candle!ReplyDelete
It's really great! The Diptyque candle is a definite treat!Delete
It shocks me about Lord & Berry. Didn't it used to be a low end line? And now it's at SpaceNK! The little candle is a treat.ReplyDelete
I have no idea. I thought it was a higher-end brand, and only became aware of it from Space NK. The Diptyque candle is a definite treat!Delete
Wow, what a bag! I want it for that candle alone!ReplyDelete
Amazing, isn't it?! The candle is definitely a huge perk!Delete
This bag has better inclusions than Neiman Marcus Beauty EventReplyDelete
I think Space NK always offers a more impressive gift bag than NM does.Delete
Ooh, so much great stuff! I should probably be spying the beauty, but the little Diptyque candle is just so adorable.ReplyDelete
Lovely selection, isn't it?! The Diptyque candle is definitely a wonderful surprise!Delete
Wow - what a great selection of products. I really like Malin+Goetz products so it is so nice to see when they are included in anything. I think I would enjoy this one.ReplyDelete
I completely agree, they always include such an amazing range pf products in their Beauty Edit GWP! I am a big fan of Malin+Goetz as well! I think that you would enjoy this one as well, Honey!Delete
These bags are always so impressive! I spy a lot of things I like in there!ReplyDelete
They really are, Kristina! I do too!Delete
Long time since I've been to your site--lots of changes that are just now settling down.ReplyDelete
BUT I did this beauty edit and finally got the Nuface! My candle was the Amber scent, which I am thrilled about! I was really hoping it wasn't going to be the baes.
So--I'm wondering--do they sometimes intentionally put extras in there? Last fall I got a delux sample of the royal fern eye cream which is super amazing. this year, I got 2 of the Radical serums, which is amazing because it's my favorite serum!!! I'm so thrilled!
I was just thinking about you and wondering how you were doing! Perfect timing, indeed! I hope that things are going well! I am soooo excited for you that you finally got the NuFace! I cannot wait to hear what you think about it! It's such an amazing tool! Did you end up going with the travel size or the bigger Trinity? I have the two attachments now, and have to review them soon, and they are definitely impressive!Delete
I am so glad that you got the Amber candle instead of BAES!
I think that is just a function of you being a super lucky woman! It's not the norm to get extras, but it does happen occasionally. I think you have particularly great gift bag karma or something! :-) Ahh yes, I am just about to review my Radical Youth Serum (AMAZING).I love their Peptide Serum as well! They definitely make exceptional serums! Are you going to shop or pass on the Barneys New York LOVE YOURSELF event next month? Have a wonderful holiday weekend! :-)
Yeah, just had an unexpected move and making noises about changing jobs and all the networking that goes into that. Intense! :)Delete
The Nuface is so EASY to use! I was worried that I'd be too lazy to incorporate it into my routine, but it takes so little time and the beeping helps to keep you on track and not linger.
One thing I noticed, when set at the strongest setting, it's kind of zappy, hot, unpleasant no matter how much conducting gel I use. It kind of leaves my cheeks feeling painful. And when it gets near the scalp, there's all these zaps and tremors and weird ants racing under the skin feeling. So I think I'm going to keep it on medium level. I have such thin skin and small facial muscles (but very powerful ones--it takes a man's level of botox to work on me). Weird. But I think in this case, more is not better.
I've waited until the botox has faded to start. Only have done two days so far. But because of how much it triggers my muscles, I am worried that it's going to remove my botox effect. Any thoughts?
I really do like it! I got the mini, btw.
I am not doing Barney's. I can only really afford one event at a time and I just love the Space NK one the best.
So many big changes at once is always super stressful! I have done that several times before, and it always makes you feel a bit beat up! I hope that things get back to a comfortable equilibrium for you soon!Delete
Isn't Nuface easy to use?! I would definitely keep it on the lower setting. I agree that a less is more approach might be the best way!
I have never had BOTOX so I can't offer any meaningful advice. I would ask the doctor from whom you receive it. You might also look back at Eileen's comments to you in my NuFace review– she left another comment that you may not have seen, but as a BOTOX veteran, as she called herself, she will be far more helpful than I.
I am very happy that you like it though, I really thought that you would. I love mine!
I don't blame you for choosing one, and not shopping both events– it gets quite pricey to shop these events! :-)
Oops, I forgot to include the review link where you can find all of Eileen's comments to you:Delete
Ha, my face hurt all of yesterday and last night after using it on high. Will definitely go back to medium setting until I'm more used to it.Delete
Thanks for the link and reminder! I think Eileen has good Botox karma, because even with resting for 2 weeks after injection, I still only get 2 months of effect, maximum. Often it's more like 1.5 month. I am sort of hoping the NuFace will mean I can do it less because that gets expensive! :)
Yeah, shopping both events is just not worth it for me. Plus, I don't really need that much money's worth of product. I still haven't finished all the items I received from fall's event (including the samples).
Yeah, I think I would not only drop it down to a lower setting, but I would also give your face a break for at least a few days, if not longer, before you resume treatment!Delete
You are so welcome! She may have! It's very interesting that your body needs so much to see results, but that they are so short-lived. Does your doctor have any idea why this is the case? Expensive, indeed if you have to get it done that frequently!
Shopping both events is definitely quite expensive, and there is no point to overspend, if you really don't need that much stuff! You are a wise woman! I often tell myself I won't shop, and then I get distracted by all of the shiny, pretty new things and often cave!
