URBAN DECAY Naked Skin Beauty Balm in Medium Swatch
EXUVIANCE Performance Peel AP 25 (25% Off All Exuviance Products)EXUVIANCE Performance Peel AP 25 contains 12 peels (a 6 week supply), which can be used up to twice a week on the face, backs of hands, neck, chest and body. This is a very easy to use, and highly effective, 2-Step system that consists of an Activator Pad to exfoliate dead skin cells, and a Neutralizer Pad to prevent further exfoliation. The result is baby soft glowing skin that is even in tone, and more youthful in appearance. I'm obsessed with facial peels, and Exuviance Performance Peel AP 25 offers the efficacy of a professional in-office peel in the convenience of your home!
The creators of the original Glycolic Acid peel introduce a high performance peel that is safe and easy to use at home. The Exuviance Performance Peel AP25 contains a 25% blend of Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) and Polyhydroxy Acids (PHA) including Glycolic Acid, Mandelic Acid and Gluconolactone. Performance Peel AP25 not only works at skin's surface to exfoliate dead, dull surface layers, it also stimulates the process of cell renewal among all layers, to reveal fresher, healthier cells.
First, cleanse the face with a gentle, effective cleanser such as Exuviance Purifying Cleansing Gel.
Apply a Step 1 Activator Pad over the entire face, avoiding eye area, lips and any area of sensitivity. Then discard pad. Carefully monitor the skin's response to the Peel by observing any redness or discomfort, including stinging, burning, itching, tightness, tingling and peeling.
Apply a Step 2 Neutralizer Pad to the face after 10 minutes, or sooner if you experience bothersome redness or discomfort. Apply over entire face (avoiding eyes and lips), and then rinse the face thoroughly with water.
Follow with a moisturizer such as Exuviance Evening Restorative Complex.
- Refine pore size and smooth texture
- Visibly diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
- Improve clarity and brightness
- Brighten and even skin tone
- Provide an all-over healthy glow, suppleness and smoothness to skin.
Ingredients: Activator Pads: Aqua (Water), Mandelic Acid, Glycolic Acid, Gluconolactone, Ammonium Hydroxide, Arginine, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Chlorphenesin, Methylparaben, Sodium Bisulfite. Neutralizer Pads: Water, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Bicarbonate, Glycine, Benzalkonium Chloride.

Your picks are amazing. I'm so excited about the IT Eyelift in a Tube since it's the best product ever. There are so many wonderful choices this time.ReplyDelete
Thank you, Marcia! That means a lot coming from you! I had trouble making my choices because there are so many treasures to choose from! That said, there was no way that I wasn't going to select the IT Cosmetics Eyelift in a Tube– SERIOUSLY AMAZING concealer!Delete
You will finally get to see what the fuss is all about when I rave and rave about IT Cosmetics!Delete
I certainly do see why you love IT Cosmetics so much! This concealer is a game changer for me!Delete
What shade of the BB cream are you showing on your arm?ReplyDelete
Hi Cindy! It's Medium, but the strange thing is that it doesn't say so on my tube or on the box, but it does on the link above to the Ulta website. What's really interesting is that it looks like it would be too dark for me, but it actually melts into the skin perfectly and blends with my skin tone. I am embarrassed that it has taken me so long to get my hands on this. I don't know why I don't pay a lot more attention to Urban Decay– because everything that I have from them is extraordinary!Delete
Would you say it's a true medium? Because it looks so light on you (and I am very fair) so a true medium would not work for me. Thanks!Delete
Not really, because I am more fair than medium in skin tone, and it is sheer enough that it basically melts into my skin and just evens out skin tone without imparting much color. It gives me the sought after my skin, but better appearance. You don't look at my skin and think, hmm that BB Cream looks too dark. Instead you can't tell that I am wearing anything, but you definitely notice that my skin looks really good. I really like this formula a lot!Delete
Ulta is going to make me lose my mind :) I feel like I need so much stuff heheReplyDelete
I agree! It's amazing how deep discounts equal need!!!!!Delete
I'm trying to decide about Eyelift in a Tube. I tried it at Ulta last week and loved it. I'm supposed to be flying out on a biz trip tomorrow so I hate having to buy it online and pay shipping, grrr. I think it's a great sale as alwaysReplyDelete
Get it! It's amazing, Allison! I know what you mean about shipping though!Delete
Great picks! I'm featuring the Eye Lift in a Tube, tomorrow. This sale is so bad for my wallet... I've already placed two orders. Must... Stay... Away...ReplyDelete
Thanks, Erika! Oh, I can't wait to read your review! This is the most amazing concealer!Delete
I love all the great deals available!ReplyDelete
Ooh, the Liquid Brightener is calling my name! So many great deals!ReplyDelete
It's AMAZING! There are so many fantastic deals!Delete
I love UD Naked Skin Beauty Balm, twas surprisingly nice!ReplyDelete
I agree, Kath! I'm obsessed with it, actually! :-)Delete
I splurged on more bottles of the UD Naked Skin BB!ReplyDelete
That is a seriously smart purchase! I am so impressed by this BB Cream!Delete
My fingers moved faster than my brain! That should say I'm GOING to be splurging. I need more sleep lolReplyDelete
LOL! Well, in that case– that is going to be a seriously smart purchase! I wish that I had tried his amazing BB Cream sooner!Delete
Are the Exuviance pads like the Colbert MD pads?ReplyDelete
Not really. They are closer in concept to the Dr. Dennis Gross over-the-counter Alpha Beta Peel in that both are a two-step peel. The first pad is the exfoliant/peel and the second neutralizes it to stop the exfoliation process.Delete
So...worth getting them even though I have the Radical pads and the Colbert on the way? Thanks!ReplyDelete
Well, it certainly isn't a necessity, but it's really nice to have. This is more of a controlled peel so I definitely reach for this type of product when I want to get closer to the effects of an in-office peel. The perk in getting it 25% off during the Ulta Beauty 21 Days of Beauty does, however, make it worth considering. :-)Delete
Such a great selection of products and so worth it with the great deals.ReplyDelete
Thanks, Honey! I agre– their selection is insanely good, and the deals are superb!Delete
Just returned from Ulta. Did not like the UD bb cream for me. I was highly considering the Exuviance peel pads for tomorrow. Then I went to Nordstrom to pick up my Lancome order and got into a chat with the skin care expert for the store. She highly recommended Dr. Dennis Gross pads. Are you familiar with these? Can you compare to the Exuviance and/or Colbert MD? Thank you for your expertise!ReplyDelete
It's definitely good that you tried it UD BB Cream at Ulta first!Delete
I don't mean to sound too jaded, but my guess is the the SA suggested Dr. Dennis Gross over Exuviance because she sells the former and not the latter! I have both, and I think that both are extremely effective. They both utilize the 2 pad system (one is a peel and the other a neutralizer). The Exuviance and Dr. Dennis Gross are comparable to one another, whereas the Colbert MD differs from both since it is a single pad that is used. With Exuviance and Dr. Dennis Gross, you exfoliate with the Peel pad first (in the same way that you would use your Colbert or Radical pads), but then you let it sit on your face for about 10 minutes. After that period of time you sweep the neutralizer pad across your face (everywhere that you used the Peel pad) and this neutralizes the peel (otherwise it would continue to actively peel your skin).
The advantage to buying the Exuviance pads from Ulta is that you get a great discount. Of course you don't absolutely have to buy them, but I would recommend making the purchase where you get more bang for your buck, if you decide to make the purchase at all.
If you look at my response to your comment on Sept. 16 (a couple of comments up), when I responded I compared these to the same type of peel as Dr Dennis Gross, and I sent you a link to my review for his pads, and his professional in-office peel. :-)
Thank you and I am sorry for asking the same question twice: I plead a headache as my excuse and old age for my forgetfulness! I didn't mention the Exuviance pad to the woman with whom I was conversing so she didn't make a comparison. But, yes, Nordstrom does sell Dr. Gross and not Exuviance. I had already read your review of the peel (today and once also in the past). I will say, though, that your links are never live for me nor can they be copied and pasted. (And my brain definitely works differently than the search engine of this platform as I often cannot find something that I know I've read in the past---search for it and get something totally different.....) I must say, though, that I am inclined to love the (very knowledgeable) SA today as she thought I was 22 years younger than my age. So I love her---whether she was selling me or not. And she did say her favorite cleanser is by Dior and gave me two generous samples to try. She also mentioned how our skin loves us to 'change it up' which totally fits with our addiction to all things skincare and new......ReplyDelete
No worries at all!Delete
The reason that you can't cut and paste from my website is that I had to make it harder for scraper blogs and nasty plagiarists from stealing my hard work/content. You can cut and paste the links, however, if you click the "Notify Me" box in the lower right corner of the comment section below the "Sign Out" button. This way any time that I respond to your comment you will receive an email notification, and any links that I include in a comment with be hyperlinked. As for weird misdirection of your searches, I am not sure what search terms you are using, and I am perplexed. If you know that I reviewed something, and you can't locate it, then let me know and I will find it for you. Usually just typing in the name of the company or product should pull it right up. You can also go to the Brands & Categories tab at the top of the website. Though I do need to update and add in a few.
I'm glad to hear that she wasn't hard-selling you. That always turns me off! Nice of her to be generous with samples, and nice to be mistaken for being 22 years younger!!!!
I take that back....it is a Chanel Cleanser.....ReplyDelete
I haven't tried any Chanel skincare in forever!Delete
Wow! It is quite scented. Not sure I prefer that!Delete
Not sure that I would like that either.Delete
I went to the Trend event with the intention of trying and buying the Dr. Dennis Gross pads. However, that counter wasn't doing anything so instead I had my eyes done and purchased a bunch of Laura Mercier eye stuff. Didn't have time to stop at Ulta on the way home so I ordered the Exuviance pads on the way home. I really need to stop......ReplyDelete
I hope that you had fun at the Trend Event! Laura Mercier makes such lovely– I'm sure that you will be happy with your purchases! What did you get?Delete
I think that you will be happy with the Exuviance pads– I am really enjoying mine a lot. Next time you can try the Dr. Dennis Gross pads. Maybe your local Space NK periodically offers the in-store peel, and that way you could buy them at that time. I know what you mean!
I got three shadows and their cake eyeliner along with the case for the shadows/eyeliner and the brush for the eyeliner. The rep showed me how to do their eyelining (forget what she called it). It will be a miracle if I can replicate it but I'll try. It really looked good and my husband commented about it as soon as he saw me.ReplyDelete
Nice selection, Cindy! You must be referring to tight-lining– Laura Mercier is the one to really put this concept on the map. It's quite easy to do once you get the hang of it! The results are so stunning as well!Delete
Yes, tight-lining. I did a fair job of it yesterday. That cake liner is unbelievably hard to cleanse off, though! Or is it just me?ReplyDelete
It gets easier after a few times. I find that it's easier to remove by gently using a Q-Tip saturated with eye makeup remover– it's easier to get in between the lashes that way.Delete
Very interesting blog, looking forward to more wonderful! Mac Makeup UKReplyDelete
