Osmotics Eye Surgery Under Eye Rejuvenator is a mid-weight and fast absorbing eye cream that features Tetra-Peptide technology to reduce under eye puffiness, to reduce the appearance of dark circles and to firm and smooth the appearance of crepey skin on the upper and lower eyelids. While I do not have crepey skin above or below my eyes, and therefore cannot speak to its efficacy in that regard, I am prone to dark circles, and periodically wake up with some under eye puffiness when I work too much and sleep too little, and I definitely note a radical reduction in both the puffiness and dark circles when I use this eye cream. Furthermore, it nourishes and hydrates the skin, firms and softens the appearance of fine lines, and leaves skin soft, smooth and supple. It is very concentrated, therefore only a tiny amount is needed for both eyes.
I should note that I tend to get milia from very rich eye creams, but haven't ever experienced milia while using Osmotics Eye Surgery Under Eye Rejuvenator. This is a first rate eye cream, and while I have more eye creams than I could probably count, I will purchase a replacement bottle when I finish this one.

Overall Assessment: This is a very impressive eye cream, and if you have puffy eyes or dark circles, I can attest to the fact that it works very well. I should note that I reach for this eye cream even when I don't have dark circles or under eye puffiness because it does a fantastic job hydrating the delicate skin around my eyes, softening the appearance of fine lines, and it also leaves skin soft, smooth and supple. A+

My experience: I somehow expected that Lighten FX was going to sting or at least tingle, but I found it non-irritating on my skin. I simply apply a pump or two in the morning and at night and then follow with the rest of my skincare routine. It soaks in quickly and leaves behind no greasy film or residue. After a couple of weeks of use I noted that my sunspots became less prominent, and really showed signs of fading away. It was after three weeks that I could really see a difference. The longer that I use it the better the effects. Of course I wish that I hadn't sustained the sun damage in the first place, and rest assured this coming summer I will be very mindful not to repeat what I did last summer, but I do have a new tool in my arsenal to deal with sunspots when they rear their ugly heads. It really works like a charm.

Overall assessment: This is a very effective sunspot lightening formula, and I am very happy to have it. However, before you try to treat sunspots on your own do yourself a favor and see your dermatologist to make absolutely positively sure that what you perceive to be sunspots isn't actually precancerous or cancerous lesions. Sometimes what appears to be a benign sunspot can actually be a malignancy, and the last thing that you want to do is add topical treatments to these areas since it could exacerbate an already serious problem.
