INGLOT Lipsticks
INGLOT AMC Gel Liner No 77 ($16.00 for 5.5 g/0.19 oz. from INGLOT, Beautylish, Camera Ready and Macy's): I have actually been using gel liners from INGLOT for years because they are utterly superb. They offer serious opaque pigmentation, glide across the lids effortlessly, deposit color evenly, and they are smudge-proof, crease-proof, sweat-proof and transfer-proof. If you have particularly oily eye lids, then you may want to use a primer, and while I don't have oily eye lids I have found no need to use a primer. No. 77 is an intense deep black with a very flattering matte finish that is hypoallergenic, and waterproof.  I should note that I have rather sensitive eyes, and I find many waterproof formulas harsh and unforgiving. However, that simply is not the case with this gel liner, and I can wear it all day without any irritation or redness whatsoever.

According to INGLOT,

High intensity pigments provide ideal coverage and rich colors after just one application. The creamy and delicate long lasting formula dries to a long-lasting, smudge proof, and crease proof finish.

How to Use: Dip an eyeliner brush into the pot and glide it across the upper and lower lashline. Note: To maintain your Eyeliner Gel’s freshness, keep the foil liner partially attached. If the product dries out, moisten it with a few drops of Duraline.

Ingredients: Trimethylsiloxysilicate, Isododecane, Cyclopentasiloxane, Polyethylene, Phenyl Trimethicone, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Propylene Carbonate, Caprylyl Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Hexylene Glycol, [+/-(may Contain): Boron Nitride, Calcium Aluminum Borosilicate, Lauroyl Lysine, Mica, Polyperfluoromethylisopropyl Ether, Silica, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Red 40 Lake (ci 16035), Yellow 5 Lake (ci 19140), Blue 1 Lake (ci 42090), Carmine (ci 75470), Aluminum Powder (ci 77000), Ltramarines (ci 77007), Black 2 (ci 77266), Chromium Hydroxide Green (ci 77289), Iron Oxides (ci 77491, Ci 77492, Ci 77499), Ferric Ammonium Ferrocyanide (ci 77510), Manganese Violet (ci 77742), Titanium Dioxide (ci 77891)].

  2. In Boston, not far from Vidal Sassoon where I get my hair colored, there's a store that sells INGLOT. I've gone in a couple of times and I've never known what to try. Next time, I'll pick up one of the slim gel lipsticks - it sounds great!

    1. It's definitely worth going in. They have so many things that it can be a bit overwhelming, and therefore it's a great idea to have products in mind– otherwise one can get quite distracted by all of the pretty colors! The Slim Gel Lipsticks are quite nice!

  3. I have a lot of Inglot eyeshadows but no lip products. Once when I was in LA to go to IMATS we went to the Inglot store and tried products to buy at the show. I spent a fortune and never regretted it. I love their shadows. What do you notice about fragrance in the lipsticks? I was so concentrated on shadows that I don't remember even testing lipstick!

    1. Their eyeshadows are great quality, and so are their lipsticks. The Slim Gel Lipsticks and the Lip Pencils have no detectable scent or flavor, but the Liquid Lipstick and the regular lipstick formula both have a sort of fruity smell. The scent isn't long-lasting, and it isn't overpowering, but you would probably want to sniff those two formulas to see how you feel about them. I definitely think that you would love the Slim Gel formula!
