Their products are safe for color treated hair, and are gentle enough for dry, curly hair. Hair is left soft, smooth, frizz-free and manageable.

About Ms. Pompadour,

Designed and formulated by the guys behind Mister Pompadour, engineers and product designers, Zack Henry and Matt Davis, set out to create a sister brand to their men’s hair care line after receiving consistent feedback from women using Mister Pompadour, wanting a female version, they decided it was time to bring that same passion and energy to improving women’s hair as well.

The engineers set out methodically to formulate a premium hair care line for women – reaching out to friends, family and hairstylists, among others, to gain insightful feedback, ultimately realizing that there was a need for quality hair care products with balanced natural ingredients that work – was hard to come by. So, Zack and Matt’s journey continued and Ms. Pompadour was created.

Ms. Pompadour products are packed with beneficial botanicals like olive fruit extract, aloe leaf juice and rice protein and are free of any sulfates, parabens or sodium chloride, creating weightless formulas, keeping hair soft, frizz-free and manageable year-round.

Ms. Pompadour Curl Defining Cream ($21.00 for 4 oz. from Ms. Pompadour): When I wear my hair down, which is most of the time, I require a little defining cream if I want to maintain a little control over my often unruly tresses. If you seek to fight frizz, enhance the formation of your curls and have a glossy shine– then this curl defining cream is a definite must-have. I simply apply a very small amount to damp hair and comb, scrunch and let it dry naturally.

Ms. Pompadour Smoothing Serum ($22.50 for 3.4 oz. from Ms. Pompadour): This silicone-based serum smooths hair, fights frizz and protects hair from heat-styling. I seldom heat-style because of the damage it can cause, but this serum also works exceptionally well when you opt to let your hair dry naturally as well. It has a delicious deep, warm aroma that smells as though it is punctuated by vanilla, but the scent does not linger.

According to Ms. Pompadour,

  3. I am in love with them even though I haven't tried the brand with my straight hair. So many brands have sodium chloride in their hair formulas and I can't use that on my hair so YEA for Ms Pompadour.
