Jane Iredale Mystikol Powdered Eyeliner in Onyx | Review and Swatches #JaneIredale

Jane Iredale Mystikol Powdered Eyeliner in Onyx, which is a jet black water-resistant powder/cream eyeliner, is housed in an innovative pot with a long neck that stores a built-in brush. The liner has the texture of a gel eyeliner with a silky-smooth texture that glides across the skin effortlessly and deposits color evenly. You can use it as a shadow for an easy smoky eye, or as a liner for an effortless cat eye, but I have only used it as a liner. To line the eyes, I simply use the brush that is provided on its edge or tip, and it applies the liner perfectly. The tip is fine enough that it is easy get right into the lash line with ease. The flat sides of the brush, while not very wide, can be used to apply Mystikol Powdered Eyeliner to the lid as a shadow. The water-resistant formula offers long-wear without fading, creasing, smearing, flaking or migrating, but if you have particularly oily eyelids, you may want to use a primer.
According to Jane Iredale,

Create the sexy look you love with new improved Mystikol Powdered Eyeliners! The built-in brush makes a perfect line or smudged-out smoky eye. The powder/cream formula makes a shadow that won’t fade, crease or smear.

  1. I left a looooong comment earlier that got lost so this time shorter, lol. I have used another eyeliner with this type of container and brush, and I loved it because it's so handy. Curious about the powder/cream formula of this one!

    1. I hate it when that happens– it is so frustrating! This type really is incredibly handy! You know, it really feels like a gel-type of consistency. I really love the formula!
