White Sands Haircare Picks

Press Sample (Unaffiliated Links)

White Sands Orchid Bliss Revitalizing Shampoo and Conditioner are my latest color-safe cleansing and conditioning picks because this ultra-gentle duo boasts a sulfate-free formula that thoroughly cleans and conditions without ever stripping the hair, or dulling and fading color.  Orchid Bliss Shampoo and Conditioner, "utilize the flower’s anti-aging features and mineral richness to support color retention." I am also quite pleased with the results that I have experienced with their White Sands ER Fusion deep conditioner and their White Sands Curl Up in Silk Firm Hold Mousse, and wanted to introduce you to these four products. All four work exceptionally well with my color-treated, naturally curly hair– and are worthy of your consideration if you are seeking high-quality nourishing haircare products to add into your beauty routine.
Ingredient Highlights:
  • Sunflower Seed Extract offers natural hair color and UV protection
  • 3X more effect than shampoos with only Vitamin E

  • Ginseng Extract infuses hair with fullness
  • Jojoba Oil acts as a moisturizer and improves the hair elasticity
  • Flax Seed Oil for softness and to contribute to the overall health of the hair
  • Avocado Oil for moisture
  • Carrot Seed contains beta-carotene, which is high in natural antioxidants and Vitamin A
  • Olive Fruit is high in antioxidants and Vitamin E with natural moisturizing properties
  • Apricot Kernel is high in Vitamins E and B17 as well as omega 6 and 9 fatty acids and has natural softening and moisturizing properties
  • Hydrolyzed Soy Protein

  • Mitigates damage due to perming, bleaching and hot combing
White Sands Orchid Bliss Shampoo ($20.00 for 9.5 oz. and $41.00 for 33.8 oz. from White Sands): This non-stripping sulfate-free shampoo, which has a delectable light floral aroma, gently cleans hair and it neither strips hair, nor does it leave behind a greasy residue. Instead, it rinses clean while fighting frizz, enhancing color-treatment and adding shine.

Orchid Bliss leaves the hair strands in perfect moisture balance, it closes the cuticle layer and eliminates frizz to work in conjunction with other styling products to improve texture, repel moisture, while enhancing vibrant color. The orchid complex fills in the cracks and imperfections in each hair strand giving a high shine and making hair brilliant. You will be amazed with Orchid Bliss as it transforms this cosmopolitan treasure into a unique beauty ingredient. Orchid Bliss is sulfate free.

White Sands Orchid Bliss Conditioner ($21.00 for 9.5 oz. and $44.00 for 33.8 oz. from White Sands):  This is a lightweight conditioner, with a light floral aroma, that effectively fights frizz, smooths hair, supports the longevity of color-treatment and infuses hair with much-needed moisture without weighing it down.

According to White Sands.

Orchid Bliss Conditioner leaves the hair strands in perfect moisture balance, it closes the cuticle layer and eliminates frizz to work in conjunction with other styling products to improve texture, repel moisture, while enhancing vibrant color.
White Sands ER Fusion ($26.00 for 3 oz. from White Sands): This is a seriously effective, and lightweight, deep conditioner that is formulated to treat dull, dry, frizzy and brittle hair. It was created to "heal and prevent dryness and breakage, while softening all hair types." This is a heat-activated conditioner that leaves hair soft, smooth, frizz-free and ultra-shiny. I initially had my doubts that it would be able to tackle my frizz-prone naturally curly hair, but I was pleased to see that it effectively smoothed my hair, and left it without a pronounced glossy shine. It has a wonderful floral aroma that lingers for a few hours before fading, but frankly it smells so good that I wish that it would linger longer!

According to White Sands,

ER Fusion is an intensive reconstructive hair treatment which restores hair back to its youthful condition. The product creates a clear micro shield to seal in color and softness, while weightless quaternaries balance and self-adjust color in the hair. A complex set of amino cystines repair damage while lemon grass extracts enhance color with a high gloss. ER Fusion’s unique delivery system ensures optimum performance and lasts 30 days after each initial use.

Directions: Comb ER Fusion through clean, damp hair. Apply heat with a blow dryer to hair for 20 minutes and then rinse.
White Sands Curl Up in Silk Firm Hold Mousse ($19.50 for 7 oz. from White Sands): If you have curly hair that you need to periodically reign in, then you know how important it is to use styling products that are specifically formulated to work with particularly finicky type of hair. My naturally curly hair requires hydrating products that tame frizz, smooth cuticles, and that seal in moisture. That said, I do not like to use styling products that feel like I am using finishing products. Instead, I prefer that they define my curls, while leaving my hair soft, and without weighing down my hair, or by leaving it feel stiff or crunchy. This mousse does precisely that, and its delectable floral scent only lingers for a short time before fading.

According to White Sands,

Curls are back! White Sands Curl Up in Silk Firm Hold Mousse provides a different type of curl pattern. The chemical molecular structure of the ingredients causes the hairs to group together and rope over each other. It also can be used for round-brush styling for volume, and it resists moisture for long-lasting styles. Curl Up in Silk has redefined curls and mousses with its ability to change the curl pattern, provide high shine with no flaking, and leave hair silky and soft.
Overall Assessment: I am so pleased by the efficacy of these White Sands products, and definitely recommend them without reservation.
