TerraNova Fig + Sambac Perfume Essence | Top Earth Day Pick

Press Sample (Unaffiliated Links)

I  am such a big fan of TerraNova, and I have been utterly delighted by every one of their products that I have tried. My most recent obsession from them is their Fig + Sambac Perfume Essence– which is a delectable alcohol-free perfume oil.

Fig + Sambac Perfume Essence is described as a "fabulous, Mediterranean inspired perfume" that  "embodies luscious, ripe Grecian figs and intoxicating Jasmine Sambac vines, entwined in earthy cedar and vetiver for exquisite wearability."  They further assert that its effect is "sweet and delicious, yet rich and seductive." On my skin, Fig + Sambac reads as a citrusy-floral that is simultaneously warm and tangy. Upon dry down, it sits close to the skin and the edges round out, and it becomes a light and slightly spicy floral. Make no mistake about it though, it is the perfect scent for the spring and summer.
In honor of Earth Month, TerraNova announced that they have become a supporter of the National Park Foundation in observance of Earth Day (April 22nd) and National Park Week (April 16th-24th).

According to TerraNova,

Customers that visit TerraNova's website during Earth Month (April 1st, 2016 and April 30th, 2016) will have the opportunity to learn more about TerraNova's support of the National Park Foundation.  As the official charity of America's national parks, the National Park Foundation protects national parks, connects people from all backgrounds to their incomparable natural landscapes, vibrant culture and rich history, and inspires the next generation of park stewards.

'Mother Earth has provided us with so many wonderful resources to create products that have helped our customers look and feel their best for over 45 years,' said Ann Saunders, President of TerraNova®.  'It seems only natural that we do our part to give back to organizations, like the National Park Foundation, that are as equally committed to preserving and nurturing our planet for generations to come.'

TerraNova’s products are made from quality ingredients and lovingly crafted in the U.S.

Overall Assessment: I'm in love.

  1. I am curious: who buys perfume or any scent product without knowing the scent by smelling it? Very interesting that an online only company is selling this type of product. It's not something I would consider.

    1. Their products are actually sold at numerous stores. If you check their store locator, you can enter your zip code and you will see the retailers in your area that carry their products.
