Goldfaden MD Sun Visor Ultralight Oil Free SPF 30 Mist: A New Generation in Sunscreens & a Happy Review

I seldom effusively gush over sunscreens, but Goldfaden MD has given me a great reason to rave about their Sun Visor SPF 30. This is not merely a good sunscreen, but instead it is a fantastic and brilliant product. So much so, that I would venture to say that it is groundbreaking. Why? Simply put, it is an easy to use spray mist that makes for easy reapplication on the go. As we are all well aware, sunscreen is only effective for about 2 hours after application and therefore requires frequent reapplication to remain effective. This is where Goldfaden MD Sun Visor  really comes in handy because it can easily be carried with you wherever you go, and the refined mist does not, I REPEAT, does not disturb your makeup. The fine mist applies with the same refinement of Evian Facial Water Spray.

Dr. Goldfaden’s fast absorbing, oil-free, PABA-free and fragrance-free SPF 30 sunscreen protects your skin from harmful UVA/UVB rays. This unique product offers dual-action protection by delivering high-level UV filters to help prevent sun damage, fine lines, and dark spots. Skin renewing organic red tea works to rejuvenate skin and provide antioxidant benefits. This advanced, revolutionary, ultralight translucent oil-free, fragrance-free and even smear-free formula is a must for all skin types.

Naturally, it is perfect to use sunscreen during the summer months but we should also be thinking about sun block every day of the year. Best to use at least 2-3 times per day throughout the day regardless of the season. This convenient spray can also be used allover the body and do not forget the back of your hands and your neck and décolleté, as these areas show the first signs of aging and sun damage.

Directions: Apply 1-2 pumps on the face and neck after moisturizing to protect against UVA and UVB rays. If using with make up, apply after foundation application. In direct sun, apply frequently for optimal protection.

Usage Warnings: "For external use only. Do not use in or near the eyes. If contact in eyes occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Stop use and ask a physician if irritation is severe and keep out of reach of children. Limiting sun exposure, wearing protective clothing, and using a sunscreen agent may reduce the risks of skin aging and other harmful effects of the sun.

  1. how come we don't see zinc in the ingredient lists even it it's talked about in the product descriptions? too bad they didn't leave out the chemical sunscreens and just focus on physical blockers and plant uv protection but it looks like something my cousin would love so i may have to test it out for her

    1. Good question. I suspect that they included both types since there are many who prefer the added protection afforded by both. Sun Visor is a remarkably effective sunscreen, and the fine mist spray makes reapplication so convenient and easy!

    2. ok clearly i need some application tips. i'm using it at least 6-8inches from my face and i'm still getting white spots all over my face that need to be patted and smoothed out into my face!

    3. I shake my bottle first, then I hold it about 10 inches from my face and give it 1-2 mists. Then let it be and see if that corrects the problem. That works for me. Let me know if that works for you! :D

    4. Chia - ok, correct me if I'm wrong, but I was told that you are to leave the white spots alone and they will dissipate on their own. And I also suspect that the chemical sunscreens are included in the formula, so as to allow this splendid formation to work it's magic, so to speak.

    5. the white spots definitely did not dissipate on their own even 20mins + and even if they did, it's kind of embarrassing to be walking around town with spots on your face, no? safer to just stick to my cushion compact!

    6. My spray has a clog, and isn't working properly, but the last 10 or so times that I used it, I lightly blended it after spraying and there were no white spots.

    1. Hi Erin, It is definitely expensive, but it is so easy and convenient to use. I used forego reapplication of sunscreen a lot of the time when I was on the go because I would either forget to do it or it would become a cumbersome task since I would have to redo my makeup because carrying around a cleansing cloth, foundation and blush to reapply every two hours seemed like a lot of extra things to carry. However, this product is pure genius because it is so easy to carry and apply, and it never interferes with your makeup. It is such a brilliant yet simple concept. I just love this sunscreen!

  3. Pricey but may be worth it for the summer. Love the fact that you can reapply without ruining makeup
