Chanel Rouge Coco Shine- Royallieu (#58)- REVIEW & Availability

If you are among the many people who missed out on picking up Chanel's Rouge Coco Shine in Royallieu (#58), you will be quite pleased to learn that this lovely shade is still available at Chanel.com. I was so surprised to see that there were any still available- so you have another chance to get your hands on one of these beauties.

This was a hard to come by Limited Edition shade that was available at Chanel Boutiques and Chanel.com in the US- so there was a bit of a scramble for those trying to find one in a physical store location. I found mine at the Chanel Boutique in Beverly Hills in June or July of 2011, and there were only a few left at that time.

Chanel's suggests that Rouge Coco Shine Hydrating Sheer Lipshines provide lasting moisturizing with a water-light texture. The formula glides on for easy application, and a unique HYDRATENDRE complex hydrates and softens lips, giving them a healthier and fuller appearance.

I would describe this shade as a very beautiful cool-toned light pink with almost a greyed lavender undertone, but it is quite subtle. In addition to the shine inherent in this formula you will also find that it has a very refined micro-shimmer. It has surprisingly good pigmentation for such a sheer formula, and is perfect for those who are keen on a pale washes of color. If, however, you are looking for a super pigmented formula then you will be quite disappointed with Royallieu (and probably Rouge Coco Shines in general)- but if you are anything like me you will want to jump at the chance to get this  gorgeous shade before it's gone for good.

$32.50 USD
