I have seldom used a face primer, and partly because I never really saw the need, but I must say that I really like the Jane Iredale Smooth Affair Face Primer quite a bit. I sometimes have trouble using with products containing silicones on my face, but I thought that I would try this anyway since I have always trusted Jane Iredale products. Coconut Alkanes are considered comedogenic (pore clogging) and therefore if you are prone to acne this is a likely a problematic ingredient for you. I am neither acne prone, nor did I find this primer to cause breakouts or clog my pores in the least, but I have normal/combination skin, and while it can be sensitive at times, I have no issues with this primer.

Jane Iredale Smooth Affair Face Primer has a velvety texture and it offers skin light moisture. It glides across effortlessly, it creates a perfect base for makeup and it blurs the appearance of fine lines and pores. Furthermore, it really enhances the longevity of finishing products, and it is so concentrated that you only need a tiny amount to cover the whole face.
