It has a thick and creamy consistency that is quite concentrated, therefore I recommend starting out with a small amount and adding more, if needed. Among the star ingredients is Brazil Nut oil that was selected for its ability to strengthen the hair, and it has the benefit of leaving hair very silky. Additionally, this leave-in formula contains Broad Spectrum Hemp extract and Phytokeratin that were selected to revitalize, nourish, strengthen and protect the hair while leaving it smooth and frizz-free. It is formulated for daily use, and it is an effective product for dry and damaged hair that has been subjected to chemical treatments and heated styling tools. It has a quasi floral aroma that is quite noticeable when you pump it into your hands, and while it does linger in the hair for a while– it does dissipate after less than an hour.

Directions: Pump 1-3 times and massage between your palms. Then spread over damp hair, starting from the bottom and working your way up, avoiding the root area. Dry naturally or with a blow dryer.

Spongellé Body Wash Infused Buffers in Bulgarian Rose and Freesia Pear

Body wash infused body buffers are such a treat to use, and the Spongellé Body Wash Infused Buffers really excel in their ability to clean and exfoliate the skin while delighting the senses with their delightful aromas. These brilliant body wash-infused sponges effectively and gently clean and exfoliate the skin, and they also leave the it deliciously baby soft, smooth, supple and moisturized. 

You simply dampen the Spongellé Body Wash Infused Buffers with water to activate the very satisfying lather. Each sponge is filled with enough body wash for a minimum of 14 washes, but I am able to get closer to 20+ washes from each of their buffers. Once you have used up all of the body wash, the sponge itself is left quite intact, and therefore all you need to do is use it in conjunction with your favorite liquid or bar soaps. The hanging ribbon allows the buffer to dry out easily, but I recommend hanging it outside of the moist environment of the shower to avoid bacterial growth.

Go-To Face Hero Face Oil Review

A while ago, a longtime reader asked me if I was planning on reviewing the Go-To Face Hero Facial Oil, and since it had been on my list– I decided to buy it on a recent trip to Sephora (Update: Sephora no longer appears to sell it). Formulated for all types of skin, this face oil is lightweight, fast absorbing and lusciously moisturizing. It has a rich and velvety texture that melts into the skin– leaving it silky smooth, luminous and lightly plumped. Not only does it brighten dull skin, but after sustained use it begins to lighten dark spots. The antioxidant-rich formula helps to protect skin against free-radical damage, and the anti-inflammatory ingredients help to calm and soothe irritable skin. For this reason, I find it particularly effective when my skin is a bit sensitive, or when I use a peel or exfoliant. It has a delectable warm aroma that is informed by the beautiful variety of oils used, but also from the Orange Blossom & Rose Gardenia natural fragrances.

H20+ Hydration Oasis Refreshing Gel Moisturizer

I am something of a super-fan when it comes to ultra-hydrating gel moisturizers. They melt into the skin at record speed, leave behind no greasy residue whatsoever, and they leave the skin gloriously hydrated! This is precisely why I am over-the-moon about H20+ Hydration Oasis Refreshing Gel Moisturizer.

This gorgeous blue gel not only improves hydration, but it really locks it in for all day results. Furthermore, I notice that my skin is left very soft, smooth, supple and luminous, but it also lightly plumps fine lines because of ingredients such as Hyaluronic Acid. If you love light moisturizers with serious efficacy, then this is definitely worthy of your consideration. While fragrance is listed among its ingredients, albeit toward the bottom of the list, it is barely detectable. I would characterize the aroma as faint, clean and refreshing.

My Current Shu Uemura Art of Hair Obsessions

It wouldn't be an overstatement to assert that I have long held Shu Uemura Art of Hair products in the highest esteem, and I gleefully use them all of the time, and have for many years. Here are a few of my current most-coveted styling products from this luxury brand.
