Dr. Andrew Weil for Origins Mega-Mushroom Skin Relief Eye Serum is a wonderfully light and intensely moisturizing serum for the delicate eye area. It is formulated to calm the vulnerable eye area by reducing redness, dark circles and puffiness. It is a very calming and soothing formula that feels fantastic on the skin, and it reduces the appearance of fine lines while leaving the skin soft and smooth.

This lightweight, moisturizing eye serum calms skin and helps break the cycle that can lead to unsightly eye area concerns, while creating a healthier-looking eye zone. It features Dr. Weil’s signature Mega-Mushroom blend - Cordyceps and Reishi Mushrooms and herbs - Ginger, Turmeric, plus Holy Basil to quell over-reactive skin and reduce the appearance of under eye puffiness, and Yeast Extract to help visibly relieve dark circles.

I have been using this eye serum twice daily since having received it, and have noted an overall refined appearance of the delicate skin under my eyes. I have used it alone in lieu of an eye cream and as a serum beneath my eye cream of choice, and I'm very impressed by its efficacy. When I do have any under eye puffiness, from a lack of sleep, it effectively reduces the inflammation and does so gently and without any tingling, stinging or watering of the eyes. Likewise when I have to dark circles, it quickly diminishes their unsightly appearance (though your mileage may vary depending on the cause of your dark circles). However, I must also note that this serum is so soothing that I reach for it even when I don't have any of the aforementioned issues to treat since it is a wonderfully soothing and nourishing serum that leaves delicate skin soft, supple, soothed and refined in appearance.

Overall Assessment: This is a fantastic product to soothe the delicate eye area, but can be used daily for all skin types. It is a lightweight and nourishing formula that is wonderfully moisturizing, but that has enough might to treat redness, dark circles and puffiness. Even when my eyes are in perfect shape this is what I reach for because it makes the delicate eye area look and feel amazing.
