I don't know why I have never mentioned the Revlon Colorsilk Beautiful Color Permanent Hair Color before, because I have been buying it for years and years. I generally use it at the end of the summer because each year my dark brown hair, which is naturally the color of the woman's hair on the box above (Shade 30 Dark Brown), gets sun bleached to a reddened brown. That's a beautiful shade! I can now picture you with your curls like the woman on the box! I colored my own hair during the first year of the pandemic, but truth be told, it was a pain in the neck and the color didn't last nearly as long as the professional color (a two-step process) that I have done at Sassoon. So I guess I'll keep spending the big bucks for my hard to color and keep red.

I definitely think that you are better off going to Vidal Sassoon for your color since you get precisely the color you want, and the longer lasting professional color. Plus, it is always a treat having it done at the salon!

ReplyDeleteWhat a bummer that it didn't work for you! I have been buying this same hair color for so many years, and I usually buy 2-4 boxes at a time (when they are on sale). It works perfectly for me every single time, and the color lasts quite a long time. I wonder what it is about this formula that doesn't stay in your hair? It might be worth contacting them to let them know what is happening because they may have some insights. I recently bought two more boxes, and it still works perfectly for me. This is so perplexing!
