Westman Atelier Squeaky Clean Liquid Lip Balm in Chou Chou Review

Purchased (Affiliate Links)

Westman Atelier Squeaky Clean Liquid Lip Balm in Chou Chou, a gorgeous pale pink, is a translucent liquid lip balm with the consistency of a lip gloss. It is lightweight, non-sticky and it has the perfect amount of cushion for very comfortable wear. Chou Chou is a beautiful pale pink with a stunning sheer and glossy finish. The formula is nourishing, hydrating and it's filled with skin-loving ingredients. Furthermore, it has a wonderful light and refreshing citrus aroma, but it isn't long-lasting. It doesn't boast the longevity of a stickier traditional lip gloss, but it is a wonderful tinted treat for the lips. It works well alone, but is also a gorgeous topper for lipstick. I really love this formula, and I will eventually purchase another one, but I will get one of the more pigmented shades next time.

According to Westman Atelier,

A tinted, clean liquid lip balm that cushions lips with weightless nourishment to hydrate and protect. This juicy, pillowy, and hydrating lip balm uses a bouncy formula, naturally derived pigments, squeaky-clean ingredients, and an innovative gel-oil system to cushion lips for a luxurious, healthy sheen. It is available in six translucent lip-boosting shades that melt on contact to enhance tone. Each shade is naturally fragranced with a subtly bright and happy citrus scent.

It is housed in an elegant minimalist container that fits nicely in the hand, and the doe-foot applicator is the perfect size.

  2. This is a beautiful, sparkly shade but I would probably go for something darker too. I like the look of Ma Puce.

    1. Isn't it lovely, Cindy?! This really is quite sheer, and therefore picking one of the darker shades is a great idea if you want more color payoff! These are intentionally translucent, but I also would like to try one of the darker shades. The one that I am thinking of trying next is Garçonne.
